I really like the computer except the loud fan. Cant complain about anything else. Extremely happy with the product though.

The display is out for this world, at this point in time gaming laptops are actually cheaper than building so I think this is a good investment!

Originally my review was good before I realized this laptop runs extremely hotter than any system should. Under Minimal load with fans at max RPM I am seeing spikes reaching 90-95 degree Celsius. I sent it in for this issue and when I got it back the problem is still there. Acer says that they resolved the problem and tried telling me these are normal temps. These are not normal temps as the CPU melts very close to this temp. After being run around for a while I am beginning to think this is all a scam. They make some lemons and give people a run around until they cannot return the damn thing. I should have realized something was up when it took them THREE tries to get my email right in order to send a shipping label for repair.

This is not a high-end gaming pc. You will get 5 fps in WZ/MW/BOCW before you even exceed 120 hz output at 1080p. The price you will pay for an actual GPU to see all of the game will cost more than this laptop, so the value is there. It is simply for very low level gaming. Great as a portable dedicated stream rig though.

I’m just going to be real with everyone. I purchased this laptop after careful consideration. It seemed like the best bang for my buck. I had the laptop for two weeks. I was running Destiny 2 on max settings. The last night I was using the laptop I was running the system with its preset turbo feature and the system suddenly lost power. I could not restore power. I opened up the under panel and I could smell a burned motherboard. Now I have to send the laptop to acer for repairs. I spent nearly $1700 for this laptop after taxes and shipping. The laptop shouldn’t have this problem while operating under preset settings under normal environmental conditions. I highly suggest buyers choose a more reliable system. I regret buying this laptop.

When I unboxed the laptop it was wobbly on the table and I found that it was bent. I now have to go through the hassle of returning a damaged laptop.

Overall great laptop, loving it so far. I mostly use it to play Warzone. The CPU in particular was getting quite hot as gaming laptops often do (90+ degrees Celsius) even with a cooling pad, so I looked up some YouTube videos on cooling and found out about a free program called ThrottleStop which allows you to 1) undervolt the laptop (reducing voltage to your CPU) and 2) dropping Turbo Ratio Limits down (I dropped to 32 for all cores), which caps the turbo speed of the laptop.

What can I say, i7 10th Gen, RTX 3060, 144hz screen. Its a great feat for this price.

I bought this for my son. He picked it out as he is way more tech savvy than me. Hes impressed with its specs. He spent a long time looking for the best machine in the budget I gave him. He plays VR and a bunch of games with it
