This laptop has better hardware than the current gen consoles offers. Plays everything at max settings with no issue. I literally cant think of anything to say about it other than if youre reading this, close the other tabs youre comparing and just buy this one. Its going to do what you want it to.

Overall great laptop, loving it so far. I mostly use it to play Warzone. The CPU in particular was getting quite hot as gaming laptops often do (90+ degrees Celsius) even with a cooling pad, so I looked up some YouTube videos on cooling and found out about a free program called ThrottleStop which allows you to 1) undervolt the laptop (reducing voltage to your CPU) and 2) dropping Turbo Ratio Limits down (I dropped to 32 for all cores), which caps the turbo speed of the laptop.

I want to point out ive only had it a week and will update if anything changes about my review. Overall, before I get into details, I am very satisfied with this laptop and it’s performance.

Used mostly for computer science classes at university. Battery only lasts 4-5 hours, but otherwise this is a great laptop. Good value for the money.

Well for starters this device is great , well except for thermal performence . When im gaming this laptop run over 90c . So at this level of heat it is very uncomfortable (painful) to touch the upper part of the laptop . And mostly the cpu is the one gives you most troubles with heat. So only solution so far i found was to use throttlestop software to turn off turbo boost of the cpu and then the laptop runs even the hardcore games at around 70c. But im pretty bummed about that because as you can see one of the most famous marketing point about this laptop is its so called 4th gen aero blade fans . And even when i turn on the max fan mode it doesnt reduce much heat when gaming (or heavy work). Mostly you can expect is one or two degrees of temperature difference.

I’m just going to be real with everyone. I purchased this laptop after careful consideration. It seemed like the best bang for my buck. I had the laptop for two weeks. I was running Destiny 2 on max settings. The last night I was using the laptop I was running the system with its preset turbo feature and the system suddenly lost power. I could not restore power. I opened up the under panel and I could smell a burned motherboard. Now I have to send the laptop to acer for repairs. I spent nearly $1700 for this laptop after taxes and shipping. The laptop shouldn’t have this problem while operating under preset settings under normal environmental conditions. I highly suggest buyers choose a more reliable system. I regret buying this laptop.

Awesome performance and quality. For that of the price you can experience perfect fps on games that requires alot of processing. I usually use this gaming laptop for Minecraft rtx and Gmod and usually I play Forza on it. Buying this as my first gaming PC is the right choice to experience exclusive games with the best graphics.

Great mid tier laptop with easy upgradability, if you ever decide to upgrade your laptop.

This baby is solid. If you want a 2k PC but cant afford it .....this is the substitute. Only issue I have ran into with this is sometimes after hours of gaming it gets a little warm. I bought a fan for it and it seems to suffice.
