> 24 hourVery good laptop for gaming and general use. My only complaint would be the speaker volume is a little on the underwhelming side. Very solid otherwise.

> 24 hourI play phasmophobia and indie games and it runs perfectly. I’ve tried apex on it and it ran cooler than I expected so that was great. The only time I had an issue with heat is when I tried gaming and streaming on it at the same time which is unsurprising. It’s not a PC but in my case the portability is worth it

> 24 hourOther than the high temperature this laptop can reach I cannot understand the design of the edges, why are they so sharp or was mine not finished. There are 2 sharp edges at both ends of the base facing the user. Thats a dangerous flaw.

> 24 hourWe had a little glitch with our laptop; Acer fixed it for us super fast! So impressed.

> 24 hourI switched down from a 17.5 display to this 15 display, since I have it setup with an external 24 monitor and external KB and mouse. Much more comfortable for me, and having sold Acer products at Best Buy for several years, I knew it would be a high quality PC!

> 24 hourEverything of the laptop almost look perfect to me except a hardware defective. So the issue I had with my laptop is when I plugged in my headphone into the jack, the left side is always not working (apple headphone has no sound while Acrux just has buzzing sound and both headphones work fine on my other laptop) while bluetooth mode fully works. After several hours of research and talking to multiple Acer technician on chat and on phone, we went through several debugging processes like reinstalling the audio drive, checking the balance setting and other properties of headphone, resetting the power and so on. And the final conclusion is there is hardware issue and I need to send the laptop to their repair center (shipping fee is covered, but I have to buy packing materials myself and meanwhile this process might take like 10 days). Though this is not a big hardware defect, it is super inconvenient that I cant use my wired headphone on it.

> 24 hourThis laptop was basically exactly what I was looking for. Before then, I never owned a true gaming PC. The only computer I owned before that wasn’t a hand-me-down was a 2016 Acer Aspire E15 with an Intel i5 and a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card with 8GB of memory. Needless to say, for any serious type of gaming, it was not to last. Games like Sonic Generations had the fan screaming in agony and the game would freeze at random points and games like Street Fighter V at lowest settings ran at about half speed. The only other modern gaming system I have was the Nintendo Switch, and while I love that system, it’s not the best main drive to play the latest blockbuster releases from 3rd Parties. And so, I began looking for a new gaming PC. I tried looking for a desktop all summer but I could never afford or find the parts I wanted and the prebuilt options didn’t impress me. But in September of this year I found this little guy and it had everything looking for it. I saved it up and got it at a discount of $1,100 with some extras such as a new mouse, mousepad, and backpack.

> 24 hourThis laptop usually comes stock with Windows 10 but it seems someone decided to upgrade these to Windows 11. This means that you cant roll it back to 10 by the time you get it (because obviously the 10 days have expired) and if you try to do a clean install of Windows 11, the touchpad will stop working. What fixed this for me was going into optional updates and something being there that said to download if youre experiencing certain issues with devices and such. I hate what they did as the customer should have got to choose whether or not to do the free upgrade and not have this preinstalled.

> 24 hourI ordered this computer as an architecture student with an intent to do autocad, renderings, etc. This computer lags, the picture quality is average at best and it gets hot FAST and dies FAST. I am not even doing that big of files or crazy stuff either. The fans are also EXTREMELY loud. I do not recommend for common architecture files/CAD.

> 24 hourThis is a laptop with a great combination of features and performance at a very attractive price. I play games, but I also wanted a mobile workstation for digital media work - and this laptop is excellent for this. For starters, the screen is really nice. Motion is smooth, color rendition is excellent and the display’s viewing angles give me good flexibility. I use this laptop, and go back to my old laptop - and such a world of difference. Contrast and brightness are great. The screen is an optimum size - balancing usability with portability.
