By far my best Amazon purchase I’ve made

Ive owned this for about 3 years now and have been pretty happy with it. The biggest problem Id say is that it overheats like crazy, to the point if youre in a game walking forward with W, you can feel it slightly burning your finger if youve been playing for over 45 mins.

Most games look like irl and have a very great frame rate speed. Not all game need turbo or extreme mode to run flawlessly which is nice.

they do not mea 16gb ram and an extra slot they mean 2 8gb ram so if you want to make it up to 32 ou need to buy two 16gb rams plus installing this stuff is not user freidl since they prefer you to pay them more to get what yo really wanted

Best bang for the buck right here! I love this thing! It gets a little hot but you just run the turbo when that happens and its good as new. I play this thing more than my desktop. I can play most games on ultra with it which is excellent. 10/10 would buy again.

Honestly, so far so good. I bought this computer to play games from steam since my other one did not have the specs. to run allot of games that I wanted to try and play. The bad thing is, Ive only had this laptop for a month and something is wrong with the A/C adapter. Every time I load up a game from steam the battery light and the power light start flashing and the computer disconnects from the adapter and it stops charging while both lights stay flashing while I have a game loaded up to play. Ive disconnected the adapter multiple times and plugged it back in and it tries to start recharging the computer but then the lights just start flashing again and makes beeping noises. So, Im guessing that maybe the A/C adapter is faulty in a way since Ive never dropped it or anything.

Really, I’m not the right person to review this and I should make my husband do it. I needed a laptop for some minor spreadsheet work and internet surfing. Real low level could buy a much cheaper computer stuff. It works great for that. Fast, responsive, easy to work with, not hot and pretty quiet to use. The LED is fun but definitely unnecessary IMO. Doing the type of lite work I do, I can get 4-5 hours on the battery.

So far this laptop beautifully runs everything Ive thrown at it, including Cyberpunk 2077 at 100+ FPS on high settings (with ray tracing off). Im using a LG 32GP850-B monitor overclocked to 180hz and couldnt be happier. The turbo mode definitely makes a difference in the FPS but the fan is loud. I use headphones anyways so the whole family doesnt have to hear me gaming, so it doesnt bother me at all - but if you dont use headphones just be aware of the fan noise while in turbo mode.

The laptop arrived dysfunctional, display is permanently black when I turn it on. Tried to ask for a replacement, Amazon said replacements are not possible and offered to give me a refund within 30 days when I return it. Now I have to wait 30 days or more to buy another laptop, at a higher price, and I got absolutely no compensation from Amazon. Just overall horrible experience, and Amazon servcie was extremely bad.

I switched down from a 17.5 display to this 15 display, since I have it setup with an external 24 monitor and external KB and mouse. Much more comfortable for me, and having sold Acer products at Best Buy for several years, I knew it would be a high quality PC!
