> 24 hourIts been in for about two weeks, and well worth the purchase. I use this machine for both remote work and for gaming, and it works flawlessly for both. Windows 11 took a little getting used to, but so far, its lived up to all Ive come to expect from Microsoft (that was NOT a compliment).

> 24 hourIt did power on when it arrived but froze within 24 hours and would not start back up. I combed the internet for a about 16 hours trying every solution I could find. Nothing worked. Called tech support and their recommendations were VERY VERY basic and were all things I tried in the first hour. Acer won’t warranty because it’s from Amazon. Got a best buy membership and had them take a look at it. They said it’s toast. They couldn’t get it to boot after replacing, cpu, ram, graphics card, basically everything but the motherboard. Really disappointed. Returned and praying for a refund soon

> 24 hourFor the past few years, Ive been gaming on an Acer laptop and have been very happy with its performance. I recently bought a new game and decided it was time to upgrade my machine. So of course I chose another Acer and I was not disappointed. It can easily handle the higher graphics settings and I hardly ever hear the fan. Its surprisingly very quiet.

> 24 hourI was really excited to receive this PC. The moment I set up windows and logged in I noticed the screen periodically blinking. It seemed like the GPU was quickly crashing. I reviewed the reliability monitor and it appears it was repeatedly throwing a live kernel event 141 error which seems to be common by doing a google search. I updated windows, updated the NVIDIA driver all with no luck. I contacted Predator preferred support which is just a foreign call center. They proposed the items I already tried. I even reset it to the factory acer windows image and installed a clean copy of windows with no resolution. After wasting 6 hours of research and troubleshooting I boxed it up and sent it back to Amazon. Waste of a day and no new PC.

> 24 hourI dont know anything about computers, hardware, gpus, ram and dont care nor do I want to learn. I play pc games and just want to be able to play those games. The most important thing was 1. will it work immediately after plugging in? 2. I am unwilling to call tech support for any reason even if an easy fix or it goes back. Worked immediately and is a great machine. It doesnt even purr like a kitten, it makes NO noise. I could lie and say that I looked into stats but I just picked the highest options, which imo..if you do that and pay that high price for a pre-built, it 100% should work out of the box and it does beautifully. Games look great too, zero lag. I didnt use the mouse or keyboard that came with it. I would get anxiety due to peoples reviews that some future upgradeable thing is not good or need to switch out something, but some of us wont be doing that, so if you want something to work and work well for what you pay for it, then this review is for you. Im ok with being a computer idiot but thats why these companies exist for us idiots to have zero thinking involved. The only cons.... it was delivered in the pc box with only its inside 2 pieces of protective foam, like no outer box, address label slapped right on the side showing exactly what it was and surprised it wasnt stolen/oops got lost/misdelivered. It has tape on the edges with Acer logos but like that ever stopped anyone. Nothing was loose inside but I could see where not putting it inside another box could cause issues for others being jostled around during delivery. 10/10 would buy again.

> 24 hourAt the time I got this pc everyone was in the peak of the gpu shortage. I wanted to custom build but couldn’t . I found this pc and to be honest it was a steal. I’m not a pro at pc knowledge but…I’ve picked up a lot more knowledge after getting this one. So first thing is first. The cpu fan… get rid of it asap. I put a Noctua on mine and it was a really easy must do kind of thing. Second the mother board is proprietary soooo don’t expect to over clock your cpu or ram because this will not run any kind of xmp profiles. So all the pretty rgb ram you see on YouTube? Nope. Not happening at least at high speeds. You can put it in their but you may have speed issues. Now everything isn’t all negative. The cpu is a beast. The gpu is pretty good to be honest. The ssd it comes with is ok but all the pcie slots for your nvme m.2’s are gen 3 except for the graphics card slot it’s gen 4 thank god. And the psu is atx12v standard. Which is rather see a plan atx but beggars can’t be choosers. Over all if you don’t want to build a pc and you want the best bang for your buck then….I would consider this machine here. If you want the best performance that you can get out of these kind of specs then I’d keep shopping or diy it and build one. Acer does have an amazing community over at the official acer forum. You can ask a question and usually get responses back pretty quick. As for tech support idk luckily I haven’t had to reach out. So with all that being said….Buy it….Don’t buy it ….you choose.

> 24 hourI’ve built all of my previous PCs but have been a bit out of the game for years since my last PC was suitable for my needs, until it wasn’t. I looked at build options as well as various different PC gaming manufacturers. This Acer Predator, with a 12th generation I7 and an nVidia RTX 3070, was on par with pricing if I chose to build. While I was unimpressed with the case and USB availability I can say that it runs great and neither are issues for me. The fans ramp up louder as you are playing games or doing anything CPU/GPU intensive, but it’s not out of the ordinary. The only way to avoid that is with liquid cooling. What few issues I’ve had with the PC were related more to Windows 11 than PC hardware (some settings, especially power/sleep, needed to be tweaked). The included keyboard and mouse are pretty standard but do sync with RGB lighting of the case. The tempered glass side cover is optional and is shipped in its own internal box. Once installed I believe it helps with some noise cancellations. Overall, I’m very happy with this gaming PC and would recommend it for those that want a decent gaming PC and are on a budget.
