> 3 dayThe PSU crapped out on me by January. Lots of crash issues, I am currently dealing it Tech Support for the repair. I would have just replaced it with a better one however the cable connecters are proprietary, so the only way to replace the PSU would be to replace the motherboard as well.

> 3 dayThis computer is a beast. For the parts alone it is a great buy. The problem I am having after having it for a month is that the USB ports are failing. They are very loose and the front USB doesnt work at all. The programs dont read the temperature anymore in the predator software so that is useless as well. But all in all it has great hardware that can be swapped into a new case with a new CPU fan for better cooling.

> 3 dayAt the time I got this pc everyone was in the peak of the gpu shortage. I wanted to custom build but couldn’t . I found this pc and to be honest it was a steal. I’m not a pro at pc knowledge but…I’ve picked up a lot more knowledge after getting this one. So first thing is first. The cpu fan… get rid of it asap. I put a Noctua on mine and it was a really easy must do kind of thing. Second the mother board is proprietary soooo don’t expect to over clock your cpu or ram because this will not run any kind of xmp profiles. So all the pretty rgb ram you see on YouTube? Nope. Not happening at least at high speeds. You can put it in their but you may have speed issues. Now everything isn’t all negative. The cpu is a beast. The gpu is pretty good to be honest. The ssd it comes with is ok but all the pcie slots for your nvme m.2’s are gen 3 except for the graphics card slot it’s gen 4 thank god. And the psu is atx12v standard. Which is rather see a plan atx but beggars can’t be choosers. Over all if you don’t want to build a pc and you want the best bang for your buck then….I would consider this machine here. If you want the best performance that you can get out of these kind of specs then I’d keep shopping or diy it and build one. Acer does have an amazing community over at the official acer forum. You can ask a question and usually get responses back pretty quick. As for tech support idk luckily I haven’t had to reach out. So with all that being said….Buy it….Don’t buy it ….you choose.

> 3 dayDid not purchase from Amazon, but I wanted to share my horrible experience. Purchased this gaming PC for my son to also use as a HW computer. This PC has been in repair and in transit more times that it has been in use.

> 3 dayI managed to snag this on Black Friday for $1099. With a 12700F and a 3070. Based on prices, it was well worth just going the prebuilt route.

> 3 dayFans are super loud and the computer runs hot. It works well and runs smooth but Im afraid that the heat will damage it over time. I got it on sale and was a good price but Id rather have spent more for a better cooling computer

> 3 dayits a great pre built gaming computer built like a tank ,you cant beat it for the price, very fast and cool at the same time, with all the graphics cards costing more than a use car, its a great value in my opinion.

> 3 dayI’ve built all of my previous PCs but have been a bit out of the game for years since my last PC was suitable for my needs, until it wasn’t. I looked at build options as well as various different PC gaming manufacturers. This Acer Predator, with a 12th generation I7 and an nVidia RTX 3070, was on par with pricing if I chose to build. While I was unimpressed with the case and USB availability I can say that it runs great and neither are issues for me. The fans ramp up louder as you are playing games or doing anything CPU/GPU intensive, but it’s not out of the ordinary. The only way to avoid that is with liquid cooling. What few issues I’ve had with the PC were related more to Windows 11 than PC hardware (some settings, especially power/sleep, needed to be tweaked). The included keyboard and mouse are pretty standard but do sync with RGB lighting of the case. The tempered glass side cover is optional and is shipped in its own internal box. Once installed I believe it helps with some noise cancellations. Overall, I’m very happy with this gaming PC and would recommend it for those that want a decent gaming PC and are on a budget.
