An incredible gaming laptop that runs like dream. It lets you fully customize the color and motion of your keyboard. The sound is incredibly clear but not that loud but paired with a sound system makes for an incredible experience. The size and weight of it makes it easy to carry around also. The only down side of this laptop is it only has 500something gigabytes but its easy to buy a external side that being said the built in ssd does download games at incredible speeds.

Great gaming laptop especially for warzone! I get around 150-170 fps at high settings 1920x1080.

This computer would continually blue screen at least once a day. From the day I unboxed to the day I returned it. I would not recommend this. It was blue screening from the killer WiFi, from the predator turbo features and from windows hardware issues. It had been completely updated and only had wow installed. Which it could not even run above 60fps on ultra.

This slim and dense laptop packs a six core CPU that can turbo up to 5ghz, a 2070 super, and all the LEDs to light up a carnival into a laptop with a great screen. The heft and performance mean business, though the loud startup sound and fireworks display on the keyboard betrays a bit more whimsy. It can fill both niches nicely, as can it be a portable desktop replacement. I say portable, but at a very dense 5lbs (feels much heavier) and with a 4 hour battery life, its not a typical laptop. Between the low base CPU speed and the various max Q tricks used by the GPU, it can and does make sacrifices to allow for this portability. Most evident is the 230watt power pack, which is ridiculous for a laptop, but the GPU alone could draw more on the desktop, but upgradability is another issue.

It has an on-boot feature where it plays this loud sound and does some silly RGB keyboard animation. The sound can be disabled through BIOS and/or the PredatorSense app. The RGB keyboard animation CANNOT. This animation occurs on-boot and whenever the laptop wakes up. This basically ruins the laptop for me.

I have had mine for a couple of months now. It has ridden in planes, seen foreign countries, and has always worked.

This laptop is extremely fast and great for gaming. It has a colorful light-up keyboard and handles all the basic web browsing and document management needs but also packs quite a punch when it comes to playing games. Battery life is excellent and the built-in speakers sound great. Very powerful and functional gaming laptop.

Initial impressions of the Acer Predator Triton 500 SE are strong. Its a rocket of a laptop with impressive surface stats. The Core i9, RTX 3080 TI, and smokin fast DDR5 memory look like a dream build. A comparably built Razer unit runs almost $1,000 more than the Acer.

If you purchase this laptop DO NOT use it on your lap or on a soft plastic surface. I had two and they both had the same heat problem. The bottom of the laptop would become way to hot to even touch and it would heat up very easy and quickly. you could of course run it on turbo and this would reduce some felt heat but be advised turbo is very loud. I am quite sure the bottom would get hot enough to melt soft plastic. At 61c or 141.8f a burn can happen in seconds. I love acer, i use a acer swift1 it has lasted me for years with abuse and its what im writing this review on. I cannot recommend the acer predator triton 500 knowing the risk associated with it.
