It works really well at doing whatever you need it to do, and you can add an extra nvme drive inside the laptop. You also can run pretty much any game at max settings, play bluestacks (admin privs) and emulators no problem.

I have been looking for a gaming laptop for a long time because I like to game on the go. To be completely honest I am a desktop gaming guy. Unfortunately, it is a pain to take it everyone and very impractical.

high end cpu and gpu, high end performance, worth the money

Pretty happy with the Acer Predator Triton 500, but really hate the keyboard light show at startup. Really annoying in a dark room. Seems to be no way to turn it off. Not in BIOS or anywhere else. Once logged in, it will use your settings, but not before.

A few months after purchase the laptop wont charge or boot up.

1. Powerful. Its capable of playing every game I throw at it with max settings with over 120fps without any OC.

Acer went all out on the Predator. Nice surprise to see that they used DDR4-3200 (albeit not the lowest latency DIMMs) and a nice fast m.2 NVME drive. High performance CPU and GPU that fit in a nice thin laptop was a nice surprise considering heat dissipation that is required.
