> 3 dayI was looking for an upgrade to my old laptop and I didnt want to pay an exorbitant price for an ultrabook. After a thorough internet (and Youtube) search, I found the Acer Swift X. I just think this laptop is amazing. You get a pretty light, compact, well built and with great specs laptop, for a reasonable price.

> 3 dayI got this for school; I just wanted something I could also do some work on, as I am doing a game design degree and messing around with a project I hope to sell one day. This thing is on par with my tower benchmark-wise; its GPU is nicer. Even the throttled-down laptop edition of the 3050 runs crazy well. I wouldnt get this just for gaming, but I got this on sale for 950 ish, and it gets better frame rates than my Tower. The granted tower has six terabytes of M203 SSDs, 32 gigs of ram, and the same CPU almsot. But that GPU price hike, oh, I felt it.

> 3 dayThe Acer Swift X is well priced laptop with plenty of power that could be dialed down to last a whole day. The laptop might looks simple and bland, with the silver aluminum chassis, but the Ryzen 7 5800U APU and NVIDIA RTX 3050Ti packs a punch.

> 3 dayIm amazed how well this laptop does for its size and price. Its super responsive for everything, and plays every game I have on the highest settings. Its so small I dont have to think twice about lugging it around like I usually have to do with laptops powerful enough for what I need. Its also nice to be able to use a USB C dock with power and only have one cable to connect and disconnect to hook up to everything. Its also nice that the screen isnt glossy so doesnt reflect everything, yet it looks amazing. The only trade off seems to be its quite plasticky and not the most rugged feeling laptop.

> 3 dayThe laptop worked fine for a year, then started getting hot when I was using it or charging. It died last week, and the local computer shop said the motherboard is fried, and the replacement cost is the same as a new laptop, so it looks I’m now in the market for a new laptop. I’ve had good luck with Acer laptops in the past, which is why I bought this one. Don’t know if this is just bad luck or a problem with their thin/light lines, but I think my days with Acer are over.

> 3 dayWith it being a laptop having a NVIDIA processor for graphics and built in graphics to the ryzen processor, the laptop tends to always put your settings on the lowest setting possible. Play with graphics in the settings and realize this isnt completely for heavy gaming use. I use it a ton for blender and adobe apps, as well as playing r6 with ray-tracing at 150fps and apex at 120. the keyboard gets hot under heavy usage but its not awful. I do recommend this laptop, its an awesome sleeper and great for everyday use, just keep the charger close lol.
