I started with my usual removing everything that isn’t in a standard Windows install including the included antivirus.

When it comes to budget or medium-priced laptops, Acer is one of the best brands to consider. The companys Swift lineup is definitely one of the best examples of this. From its ample connectivity to its speedy RAM, this is one laptop that is well worth the price.

Its 2022 but somehow finding a quality laptop with an excellent backlit keyboard is still difficult. This feature was one of the reasons I purchased this laptop, but if I could do it over again Id look elsewhere.

Its a nightmare trying to find a laptop that has a discrete GPU and 2 SSD slots but isnt full on gamer. Im not looking to play all the latest AAA games on a laptop, just run some old games from time to time, but theres no market for people like me apparently. This one however hits just the right spot: perfectly portable and with as much power as you could possibly need on a laptop. Build quality is excellent and I will probably try to slot in an additional 2TB drive, will update if anything goes wrong but so far Im loving it.

Whats a laptop with a dead WiFi card ? An expensive paper weight. And it doesnt help when the manufacturers website cannot identify their own product with the S/N or SNID. Acer is now on my business no-buy list. Decent NVIDIA/AMD power horse for architectural software, but when it fails and cant repair WiFi connectivity, its just a kids gaming trinket.

I originally bought a MSI 15M 3060 MAX-Q w/ 11th gen Intel. I’m an casual gamer and that laptop ran VERY HOT, I couldn’t even use it as a “Laptop” without 3rd degree burns. Now this laptop, wow, it runs very cool under load. If you’re looking for something besides a space ship with huge fan vents, this is it.

This laptop has worked great for me for school work. I have run into no problems or bottlenecks even when I try and do some gaming on it. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that wants a great quality thin and light that has some serious horsepower under the hood for all of your gaming or creation needs.

The product is multiple voltage compatible, that voltage arrange is 100-240V.
