ACT Whitening + Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash 16.9 fl. oz. With Zero Alcohol, Dye Free, Gentle Mint

After using it once a night for 10 night, it started to give me sharp pains in my teeth! Weird I know but it actually warns about that on the label. I can never use it again, the last time It was so painful. I guess its the hydrogen peroxide. Evidently it hurts the enamel on your teeth! Just read the label. I should have. All I wanted was a fluoride rinse.

Dentist says it’s working on them. Yay.

Seems to be doing the job. Easy to use.

It foams in your mouth and for a short time after youve spit it out. It works well and helps brighten your teeth (I drink a lot of coffee so...) - its not really expensive to me and Ive decided Im going to use it from now on.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I didnt see any significant whitening by four days like the bottle said. I either wasnt swishing long enough or vigorously enough, but I still expected some change. The flavor was also a bit too strong and caustic on my tongue, which is even more sensitive to the kick of the strong, minty flavor because Im an aggressive brusher.

My mistake in purchasing this, it is a whitener and I thought it was the ACT clear mouthwash. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the one I want even though the company says it is available. If you want a whitener, I am sure it is good, I dont like the foam nor the fact that you are not suppose to drink for 30 minutes after using this rinse, again that is probably because it wasnt what I really wanted or expected.

I loved it until it undid all the work my Sensodyne did to eliminate my sensitive teeth. Per my dentist, Sensodyne helps by plugging up holes in the tooth to make them less sensitive, but this whitens teeth by pulling all that material back out of the teeth. So, its awesome! (As long as you dont have sensitive teeth.)

I have been using ACT mouthwash since I was 11 years old, my enamel are weaker genetically. Using it everyday after flossing really keeps new cavities at bay. I stopped using it for like a year and got 6 cavities - dont give up your good dental hygiene habits! This whitening version isnt as gentle as the alcohol free ones, but I do notice a whitening effect after using this for weeks. The price on this is higher than the 3.99 for 18 oz alcohol free at Target, but my Target doesnt carry this whitening version, so Ill keep buying it on Amazon.

This ACT mouth rinse claims to produce noticeably whiter teeth in just four days, but I haven’t observed any difference.
