I was really happy to find this product still available as my original purchase was several years ago. Great product for organizing my embroidery floss and other stitching supplies. Order was received when promised and in good condition. Will order from this seller again.

Not as good as my older floss-a-way bags, which had a red stripe reinforcing the closure and hold punch to prevent break through in the ring. Older ones were made of slightly thicker plastic too. Still love these bags. Perfect size for up to 6 skeins of embroidery floss and easy to tuck away leftover cuts to use on that line leftover cross stitch. Cheaper than some smaller sized “pill bags” with write on area that I found at Walgreens (Use for when I just have a single cut left over).

I use these bags all the time when I cross stitch. They are the best and easiest way to keep your floss sorted.

I have always used the bags and some of mine were just shot and needed to be replaced.

Ive never used these with the ring. Its too much trouble, especially when you are stitching a pattern with over 53 threads! As the photo shows, I used a shoe box for this one because of the number of threads. I put a piece of foam board between the bags and used it vertically instead of horizontally. When Im working on a smaller project, I use a small basket, and sometimes I use a plastic drawer insert. Whatever works. You can turn the bags vertically if you want and still see the labels. I happen to be using Anchor threads which is why the labels are large. I purchased some blue labels 1/2 x 3/4 the other day and Im handwriting the DMC colors on them. Hope this helps - dont use the ring!

The bags are just the right size for storing skeins of floss, and they open and close easily.

I love these bags. It holds the floss for not only my current project but my entire stash of floss. It makes it easier to pull them for a new project and put them away when its finished.

Use these with rings for my embroidery floss. Great for that function. Could you use other little bags and put a hole in them for the ring yourself? Probably. Could you just write on any bag without the nice writing surface on these? Probably. But these are priced to make it worth having them cut the hole and apply a nice writing surface. Have already purchased these again.
