The best pencil sharpener weve ever owned, and weve had a lot...worth the extra money.

Im a teacher and my students broke my last pencil sharpener. This one automatically stops when the pencil is sharp, which is great! Easy to empty, but not the largest storage space for the shavings.

This sharpener does not chew up the pencils and is super fast!

This appeared to sharpen great for a while but…I use pastel pencils and often the point breaks off in the sharpener and I have to use a blade to get it out before the sharpener will work again. Fortunately it is easy to take apart and clean and it works great for harder pencils.

I use a lot of pencils. Plain and colored I needed this

I hate the little manual pencil sharpeners! The lead or color tips always break or fall out, just as I have worked them to the desired sharpness. This is a nice, compact and really effective electric sharpener. You are quickly able to get the pencil tips really sharp, while they remaining sturdy. It is easy to empty the shavings and clean.

Works well. Don’t know how sturdy it is. Have only had it a few weeks

Complaints from staff regarding pencil sharpeners that did not sharpen evenly so decided to give this one a try. First, I am so grateful that the cord was actually long enough to reach from table top to outlet which is not a straight shot coming from behind a bookcase. Thank you. Sharpened a dozen or so pencils and every one was perfect!! The guides, though a little stiff, do a great job of keeping the pencil straight in the sharpener. Hopefully the gang will all be happy :-)

As a homeschool family who uses sharpeners almost daily, we’ve unfortunately gone through a lot of pencil sharpeners. I wish I could find one to last. They typically lasts us a little over a year. This one only lasted 4 months and 3 of those months was over the summer when we weren’t doing school. I honestly should have returned it immediately because I knew the first time we used it, by the feel of the pencil being interested, that it was not a quality piece of equipment, even though it’s on the more expensive end. Additionally, the receptacle was awkward to empty. One basically had to hold the entire sharpener over the trash can, which is rather inconvenient. You can’t just carry the receptacle to the waste bin. The top of the upper receptacle comes off for emptying. While the whole receptacle does come off, there’s a large hole in the bottom of it that goes around the sharpening mechanism. So, you can’t remove it full.

Works really well for multiple size pencils and it seems like its more stable because its vertical instead of horizontal sharpening.
