You have to hold the pencil very tightly when you shove it in, but it does a really good job, even on the triangle pencils I have for my preschooler. It’s fast and quiet. I appreciate the ability to change the sharpness, so that I don’t have to hand my daughter insanely sharp pencils. I did get the wrong color (grey instead of blue), but I didn’t care about the color at all. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy an electric pencil sharpener... it’s a worthwhile investment, especially having a kid.

I dread letting my students use colored pencils because I never could find a sharpener that did a good job sharpening them and also stayed sharp for regular pencils. I just got this one and sharpened a half gallon bag of colored pencils and the motor didn’t even get hot. It gave my pencils, incredibly sharp tips, and none of the tips of broke off in the sharpener. I am pleased with my purchase and will update as I continue using it.

This sharpener can be adjusted to accommodate a larger pencil. So far it is working well and pleased that it adjusts.

This sharpener is perfect when the pencil is finished sharpening it comes out so that you can’t keep sharpening the pencil.

So far, this pencil sharpener is working like it should. Pencils come out very sharp.

Bought this one to replace another from the same manufacturer. Didnt realize it at the time of order. While the other one was terrible. This one works great on all size and types of pencils.

Use it on colored pencils. Love the adjustment
