> 3 dayHaving crashed and burned with 2 lesser quality, bone conduction headphones, I finally bit the bullet and bought these (Used/Refurbished? - via Amazon). I believe it was my own sweat and the occasional rain and drizzle that we get here in the Pacific Northwest that doomed the cheaper headphones. These headphones (Aftershokz - Aeropex) have worked flawlessly so far - even in wet conditions. Ive only been using them for 2 months (about 10 runs total), so Ill come back to this review with an update if anything changes. Also, what I learned was, because I sweat a lot when I work out and run in the rain quite a bit, I most likely need at least a level 7 for water resistance. The Aeropex has a rating of IP67 (the second digit (7) represents level of protection against water ingress). Other, cheaper headphones Ive used had a level 5 for protection from water and those never worked out. I believe water was getting in through the charging port (micro USB) of the cheaper pairs, causing them to fail. The Aeropexs magnetic charging connection appears to be completely sealed and much better designed for the elements.

> 3 dayThese would be a solid 5 stars EXCEPT for the fact that when two devices are connected, should you step away from one, the engineers decided they needed to make the most annoying thing ever - lets beep at the listener incessantly. I connect mine to my iPhone and my computer at my office - and then my computer at home when Im there. I regularly step away from my work computer and the beeping starts. When Im home and go for a bike ride or run, the beeping starts. THE ONLY way to stop it, is to turn off - then wait ... then turn back on, and start music / audio again. If the mfr is reading - PLEASE make it stop! These are wonderful for phone calls. But if I walk away from computer, the beeping happens through the rest of the call. I have no idea why they thought this was a good idea, definitely not a feature, but a very annoying bother that needs to go away. Otherwise, they are great and I wear them almost all day for phone calls, music and audio and can hear everyone that I need to. Great for my bike rides and walking. I just hope they can update it to stop the beeps.

> 3 dayIm a roofing contractor and regularly have to answer my phone & talk hands free while still being able to hear clearly around me. This was recommended by another contractor to fit the bill. I ordered it and was initially VERY disappointed in the microphone, no one could really hear what I was saying. I kept trying it in different context assuming it was a problem with background noise. I eventually filed a warranty claim, and Aeropex handled the claim easily online, and sent me a replacement set of headphones that have worked as described! Yes, its true that as a jawbone technology, the base isnt great, and if the volume is too high it loses sound quality, but if you need an open ear headset to listen to podcasts, audio books, and take phone calls its great! If you are an audiophile and need great sound at higher volumes then you probably dont want an open ear headphone anyway. Thanks Aeropex for standing behind your product!

> 3 dayI purchased these to wear while biking and general use when I need to be more aware of my surroundings than my normal earbuds allow. I went with the Aeropex model because of the higher water resistance rating vs the Air. The sound quality is fine. Comparing it versus a traditional set of headphones or earbuds is probably unfair. My problem, and the reason I returned them, is they were too small for my head. For reference I wear a size 7 3/4 fitted cap, so large, but not huge, and the front piece that is supposed to land on the cheek bone just in front of the ear opening actually floated right over my ear opening. They do not have a size adjustment, and positioning the strap thing higher or lower on the head did not get them to a useful position for me. I could still hear the audio with them, but it was not great sound quality, nor was it very comfortable or secure feeling for me. If they had a bigger size I would have been happy to exchange them for that.

> 3 dayLove these head phones. I have ringing in my ear and these work great over that, so much more than other headphones I have.

> 3 dayLove the comfort of them. I have a smaller head so sitting back on a plane or in a chair makes the headphones sit tilted, which isn’t terrible just not as loud.
