First of all, Id like to understand why there is a noise cancellation category in the feature rating section, this thing is not supposed to cancel any noise, ON THE CONTRARY, the nice thing about this product is being able to listen to music while being aware of your surroundings.

Noise cancellation is nonexistent.

The sound quality is great for this style device. The sound can be turned up to block out noise if need be. The only down side is the band isnt adjustable. So I cant laydown with them on because the band sticks out. Otherwise, I love it.

I like that these can be used at work b/c you’re still able to hear conversations around you w/o having to remove these headphones. Sound isn’t going to be like Bose or Sony over ear headphones or earbuds but that I don’t believe is what these are designed for. I have Sony WF-1000xm3’s Apple AirPods Sony WH-1000xm3’s and love the sound of them but due to the convenience & comfort of wearing factor I find myself using the AfterShokz almost exclusively. So impressed w/ these I’ve gifted them to friends an family for birthdays and graduations.

When I say not for everyone this is not a negative connotation. If you are into listening to deep bases and like noise cancellation headphones, Then these are not for you. However these do have great sound for what they are intended for. These work great for work environments where you have to be paying attention to what is around you. They also work great for the gun range (add two earplugs and fire away at the targets). When you get a call the call still comes in loud and clear where you can hear it even though the ear plugs are in place. These would likely be best in combat type situations as well. I only wish that Aftershokz made them in military camouflage colors. I have owned both Trekz Titanium Aftershokz and Trekz Aeroplex Aftershokz The Aeroplex are much more comfortable and seemingly much more lighter. I definitely recommend both to anyone needing to keep their listening environment open. Even the cheaper of the two pair have been great! My last pair lasted 6 months however I sent Aftershokz my warranty information and they sent me out a brand new pair of Titaniums free of charge in about 2 days time second pair lasted well over 2 years. These guys are great! Customer Service was Great and all around a good company to do business with. ❤❤

These are ok headsets at best. If you change your head position or smile they can break contact with your head and that reduces sound quality which is just ok at best. The major downside is that they have to really pinch your head hard to make proper contact. The technology is in its infancy so I see a lot of potential. Maybe they are great for some people but not for me. The quality of this brand seems to be the best on the market. In a few years this design may be the must have style of headset. Just not for me right now.

Ive been very happy with this headset and am glad I bought it. But JUST after the 2-year warranty expired, I started to hear an intermittent rattling/buzzing sound - as if something had come loose. Its intermittent, so hard to diagnose and fix (and know that its fixed). If it gets frequent enough to be more annoying than Im willing to put up with, Ill consider replacing it with another brand.
