Sound quality not as good but for safety 5 stars.

I love it so much

I love these headphones. I have some damage to my ears which causes some sounds to be quite painful. But these bypass that, making it so I can experience a fullness of sound again.

For clarity, this review is for the “AfterShokz Aeropex” model, and it is important to know I am severely hearing-impaired and use it in a nonconventional manner. I am not making recommendations, simply stating my use of this product. (I am legally deaf, was approved for cochlear implant but unable to follow through due to surgery risks.) I am always looking for some product, any product, that might improve my extremely limited ability to hear TV each evening. (I use both closed captions and Bluetooth audio devices.) I utilize this “Open-Ear Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones and a pair of Bluetooth earbuds, simultaneously. This provides me a bit more audio, although only in the limited range I can hear. While this may be minuscule to those with normal or near normal hearing, it is huge for me. Additionally, I wish to point out the obvious high-quality product this is, very well engineered and manufactured. I was impressed to receive a post purchase follow-up email from AfterShokz concerning their product and how to maximize its use.

Love the new model and the magnetic attachment to place charger on headphones is a great improvement, rather than fumbling to fit end of charger into a little slot! The volume is also improved. Just wished you didn’t have to replace the entire headphones when batteries fail. For me that is about one and a half years.

Yes are comfortable and do not go into or cover your ears. Driving with these Bluetoothed to your phone is legal. You can still hear sirens and someone talking to you. If you get a phone call, whatever you are listening to pauses, you then just touch a button to answer the phone. Call quality is also very good. If you are listening to music, you feel like they are right there in the room with you. I highly recommend these.

Great sound and very comfortable fit. I have charged it for the 2nd time due to the initial charge only lasted approximately 12 hours.

So I think there is a time and place for this product. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is simply because I feel the sound is simply not where it should be for a $150+ head set. HOWEVER, it is well designed and anyone interested in a vibration set like these will likely find use for them. Word of caution is that it did give me a headache after about 10 minutes of use. I truthfully dont know why but worth sharing so others are aware. Also the sound is not going to be a Bose, Airpod Pro, Sony equivalent. This serves a different niche and therefore please reset your expectations accordingly. Aside from that, honestly, they are pretty dam cool.
