> 3 dayI got this fabric for draping/pattern making and I was amazed at the quality. I was just looking for cheap muslin but this one turned out to be very good quality, strong, and a bit heavier than medium weight muslin. It is not transparent like some lower quality muslin. For anyone interested the weight of it is 4.8 oz per yard. I prewashed it on hot and put it in the dryer on hot. It shrinks a bit but not much. Probably down to 60 width. It got a really nice wrinkled texture after washing and got softer. I am considering buying a fabric dye and dying the fabric to make actual garments out of it. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayIve bought the unbleached muslin many times. I needed a heavier fabric. Medium Weight should have been heavier than the plain unbleached. It is lighter. Wach out for surprises. Ill use it for something else because other than being Lightweight it is fine.

> 3 dayPurchased to be quilt backing, and reviews online suggested this material appropriate for sewing. The material is very coarse, more like painting canvas or sailcloth. I wouldnt want this against my skin in bed. I admit the error may be mine, as this describes itself as draping cloth (I think it has to do with light filtering for camera work), with which I have no experience. It may well work perfectly for that, but I have no basis to judge. Returned product.
