Good deal on a basic multi-outlet power strip. Would buy again.

My daughter took this to college. A little while after she plugged it in, purple stuff started to ooze out of the strip and it became SO HOT that it ruined two tiles on her dorm room floor. It could have easily started a fire. PLEASE check this item soon after you plug it in to make sure it is safe!!
