Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

I love it! It’s so compact, yet has large capacity!

I currently own an Orico 2595 HDD enclosure, and have another one on the way. I wanted a couple of carrying cases to protect them, so I decided to try a couple of choices to see what I liked best. I got one of these, a Case Logic QHDC-101, and a rooCASE Super Bubble Neoprene Sleeve Case, all from Amazon. The Case Logic arrived first, and although the description on Amazons web page (provided by the manufacturer, Case Logic) EXPLICITLY STATED that the dimensions were large enough for the Orico HDD enclosure to fit, it ABSOLUTELY DID NOT. When this AmazonBasics case arrived today and I took it out of the box, I IMMEDIATELY thought, This looks EXACTLY like the Case Logic case... and guess what, it is virtually identical... right down to the fact that Amazons description says explicitly that a hard drive enclosure of the Oricos dimensions will fit, and yet it will not. For what its worth, the rooCASE DOES work for the Orico 2595 enclosure; it is just EXACTLY big enough. I think I am going to RMA both the Case Logic case and this, and order another rooCASE. Granted, the rooCASE is not a hard-sided enclosure like the other too, but at least the HDD enclosure FITS!!! And I do like the look of the rooCASE. So anyway, do NOT believe the stated dimensions in the description.

It does its job and I guess thats whats important. I would recommend it.

It has a little pocket and I put SD cards and flash drives in it too. I like it. Definitely worth it.

I purchased this case for a little over $5 to protect my portable WD my passport slim 1TB hard drive. The portable drive fits perfectly in the case. The case is divided into two sections, 1 side is for the drive, while the other side is for the USB cable. Both sections on the inside of the case have restraints to keep the drive and cables in place. The zipper looks sturdy. Id highly recommend the item.

Overall a great value for the money

Fits my WD 1TB My Passport and its supplied USB3 cable perfectly. The outside is hard with mesh texture. I love it.

Gives my drives the protection they need. Well put together, stitching was very tight and well done. Even after dropping the case it protected the drive.

This works great for my earbuds case & cable to keep together!!! Fits perfectly in my purse!!! I highly recommend this item. Very good quality & price!!!!
