I bought AmazonBasics Hard Carrying Case for My Passport Essential. Everything is as expected.

I spent 105$$ on the hard disc and this case all together. I love those products so much, I am very glad I made that buy. Great case, I traveled by plane having that case in my luggage, even though it has been tossed around nothing happened to it or the hard drive

This works perfectly with my 1TB MyPassport external drive. It keeps it safe, fits snugly and has a mesh pocket that the USB cord fits in well

This is a solid, reliable case, nice design and simple/easy to use, good value and I would recommend it if youre looking for a basic, no-frills little hard-shell (soft cover) case thats affortable and decent-looking. I will note that I bought as an add-on for the Silicon Power 1TB Rugged Armor A30 Military Shockproof Standard 2.5 Inch External Hard Drive and it is ALMOST too small for this hard drive. It fits if you are patient so... I dont know if that helps anyone.

The case itself is very nice and durable and i am giving it 3 stars based on the fact that it does not work with my particular unit. It is a nice case but it does NOT work for my storage devices as indicated. I bought it to go with my SP Armor Case. The SP armors cable when not in use is secured by build in holders that are around the outside of the unit. When i use that feature it does not fit in the case.
