This is by far the best carrying case Ive ever used.

I own four of these to protect my backup drives. They fit the external USB hard drives, perfectly. Soft on the inside and sturdy on the outside. Zipper is smooth, case is well padded. The pouch on one half holds the USB cable that comes with the drive and theres room for the drive in the other half without having to stress the zipper on closing. Nice!

This hard-shell case does exactly what I bought it for and that is to hold bare 2.5 inch hard drives in my computer backpack.

This case works with the Western Digital My Passport 1T or 2T drive with the cable. No complaints. This case is a little shorter, but wider than the Case Logic semi hard case.

This case is a little longer than the average, which is great to fit the cable and other small items like thumb drives etc.

Ive bought one of these with each new drive Ive purchase over the past year or so. They are a better fit at a better price than the older ones I had bought elsewhere. In fact, I will probably eventually replace my older cases with more of these, and then use my old cases for something else.
