Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

It does what it should. It protects my hard drive, and is as good as any brand name case. Small, stylish, and protective. What more can one ask?

I love the product for 4 reasons: 1 SUPER Great Price, 2 Design beautifully and fit for WD Passport 4TB External Hard Disk, 3 Great nice luxury material, and 4 strong structure with soft sealed inside for not scratching my hard disk. This is the Must to have.

This is my first AmazonBasics purchase and I almost couldnt be more pleased. The case is made out of durable nylon and functions just as you would expect it to. The elastic band on one side of the inside compartment works well. It keeps my drive in place just as it should. On the other side of the inside compartment there is a mesh pocket. The pocket has a nice elastic band at the top which keeps items securely inside of the pocket. The mesh itself has good elasticity which provides for the accommodation of oddly shaped items. When zipped up the rigidness of the nylon provides decent resistance against the case being crushed. The zipper is smooth and works well. If I had to find a complaint its that the finger piece on the zipper feels a bit flimsy. It doesnt really make any difference, however.

Looks good out of the box. Nicely protective (but not really hard case as it flexes). Worth the $6 since cases/covers no longer come with drives.

This is a nice, zippered, hard, clam shell case for the WD My Passport external USB hard drive.

My LaCie Porsche Design 1 TB fits in this case just the way I wanted; It doesnt move around at all! Im glad I got this one for all the others cases out there for this size of a portable were either too small or to big. Please note: Any portable larger than 5 1/8 x 3 (the size of my drive) wont fit.

So this case unzips and holds my hard drive. It works and it looks good. It looks so good that women from all over the world have been trying to talk to me about how sleek and sexy my case is. Sorry ladies, Im a married man.

It fits like a glove and has space for the USB cable. Exactly as the description states and exactly what I was looking for. This is by far better than the neoprene case that came with my WD My Passport drive. This case appears to be very well constructed and should hold up very nicely.
