Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

I bought this to put my GPS in when not in use. It hold the unit and cable with no problem. Perfect for my purpose.

This is advertised for an external hard drive however, I use it for my portable charger. I just purchased two more portable chargers and will need it to carry in my bag. I used it for a single power bank portable iPhone charger and my charger fit inside perfect and is also protected by the durable material. I can promise the durability and some might need to make sure their hard drive or portable charger dimensions can fit into the case. My portable charger is 3.75 by 1.75 inches and it could ALMOST fit two of those in one of these cases.

Using this to hold an Anker 10k MAh battery bank in one and a Hootoo wireless router/hard drive with a battery in the other.

Perfect material

Works like it should. Not much room for the cord and you have to be careful how the usb ends are folded. Overall I am happy but would prefer the smooth sided cases over this textured one as it collects debris, dust, etc. and has to be brushed off.

Would be good if it came with a thin small foam pad to protect cords from causing damage to stored device(s). Also if there were a hard case version that would be preferable. If it gets put under much pressure when packed you can still end up with damaged items.

gives good protection for my external hard drive. not too bulky, which is a plus.

Portable hard drives arent exactly delicate, but are also not indestructible. This case provides protection to help prevent scratches and some protection against drops. It also has a pocket inside that will keep track of the specific cable that works with your drive, which just adds to the value.

Never saw a better-designed product than this. It has a small interior zippered pocket for the USB cable, and an elastic band to hold the hard drive itself in place. Its rigid, for protection, and the zipper is top quality. You wont be disappointed.
