Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Sturdy and has helped protect my drive big time!

Great case holds and protects my internal hard drive .

I have more than one hard drive. Some current, some old. They all have wires dangling from them. This handy case has a place for both drive and wires. Zipped up and ready to store neatly.

Sized to fit My Passport Ultra perfectly and has room to store the cable as well. An elastic band secures the Passport and a mesh pocket hods the accessory so nothing is falling out when you unzip the case. The case is a sturdy nylon fabric covered clam shell case. It wont survive a heavy crushing force, but with moderate care should be fine for carrying in a messenger bag or backpack.

This is a much more rigid case than I thought it would be, but thats ok. I preferred something a bit softer with more padding, but this one will actually protect the drive inside better. It has 2 compartments inside: one for the drive itself, protected by elastic so it doesnt pop out, and the other is for the cable. Its actually a bit large for only the cable, so you can put something else in there, even another drive. All in all Im happy with the case.

In case anybody was curious, Game boy Colors and Gameboy Pockets fit in this thing snuggly. A Gameboy Advance is a little snug but still fits.

It does what it was meant for. I got it as a companion x-mas gift to go with an external hard drive, and it was well received. - So far so good! Its held up the last 2 months! No complaints!!

Perfect fit for a Seagate 4tb USB 3.0 hard drive. Well made with good padding and protection.
