Bought this case after getting my seagate hard drive for my laptop. Defiantly fits inside the case and even has a mesh pocket to hold the cord.

This gave my passport backup hard drive a good protective case. I feel if the drive was dropped on the ground this case would prevent it from being damaged.

This case is fantastico! It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I originally purchased this with a 1TB My Passport HDD, but it was defective. I was set to return both the HDD and the case, however, I found that the case is also great at holding my older generic USB 2.0 external HDDs so I decided to keep it and actually ended up buying another one! With SSDs now becoming the standard on laptops but still lacking space, it is practically a must to have an external HDD especially if you travel as much as I do and end up with a lot of HD videos/photos. Having a tough rugged case to protect your external HDD just makes sense. I guess I just never considered it because at brick and mortar stores these go for a lot more. This case however is just at the perfect price.

I did buy one of these for my passport I also picked up two extra 4 hard drive in something like that. However it was laying on the table when I was packing my lunch for work and I sometimes like to take Pop Tarts with me but they tend to be broken or crushed and then I noticed that they were the same size as the case so out of curiosity I went to see if they would fit and a package with two Pop-Tarts fits the case perfectly and prevents them from getting crushed or broken in my lunch!!

Bought this great little case with my new external hard drive, and immediately bought a second one for my old drive. Just a sturdy perfect little case.

Perfect size for my WD Passport Ultra 1 TB External USB 3.0 hard drive. The inside has a mesh pocket for the cord on one side and an elastic strap to secure the drive on the other.

I own 5 or 6 of these cases. They are perfect for protecting your external drive and its cord together. My husband carries his for work and likes having the case not only to protect the drive from falls, but also so that he always knows where to find the cord. The size is compact so that it fits my WD and Seagate drives under the elastic and the cord in the mesh pocket. There is room in the pocket for an additional flash drive or two as well if needed. Works perfectly for my needs.
