Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Nice design, easy to travel with, the small bag is perfect for travel, pack away fast, and just plug and play. I should have bought bigger storage with this one, but design and use is perfect!

2 gig hard drive and cable fit very snug. Has some padding. The right fit puts a little pressure on the zipper.

Amazon got me with an impulse buy, which is rare. Its a good case, was packaged well, and should serve its purpose in a what if I need to take my drive somewhere scenario.

Although the case appears durable, and quite functionable, the dye used on it will bleed onto what ever is placed inside. Hence, dont use it to carry anything that isnt black. Otherwise, it will have black lines from the netting inside, which is a permanent dye that will not come off or out.

Great case, protects the hard drive and still fits in computer bag.

It serves its purpose very well.

Although i got the wrong hard drive, this case is great and fits the replacement hard drive i bought. i like the semi-hard nature of the case, and the separate sides for the cord and the HD.

This works extremely well as a protective carry case for the Western Digital My Passport Essential line of portable external hard drives. I bought two because of the reasonable price, one as a gift for my daughter and one for me. My use was for a Seagate Expansion drive and it did not fit; thats my fault for not checking the dimensions. I ended up giving it to a friend who had a WD My Passport drive.

All of the Amazon Basics work well and are good quality.
