We purchased this product to replace another smart device brand. It works great The feature to turn on or off devices/lights at sunset or sunrise is extremely useful. We have two WiFi in the house The only issue was that it selected the other WiFi at setup time. This was very easy to fix, I simply turn off the unwanted WiFi and I was able to select the WiFi I wanted. We are quite satisfied with the product and would definitely recommend it.

This was an easy set up and works perfect so convenient to be able to control your outdoor lighting through the Alexa app.

This does the trick for turning on and off the outdoor XMas lights, but there is one oddity--it shows up as Amazon Basics Plug in the Alexa app, and you really have to dig around to find it in the list of supported plugs. Setup took way longer than it ever did for other Amazon plugs because I couldnt find it in the app and thought it wasnt working. I took off a star for that frustration. That aside, it does what it says it does.

So Alexa is all over our house, but a welcome convenience. So, when I was looking for an outlet to turn on outdoor Christmas lights and a springtime fountain this fit the bill. I set up a routine for the fountain in the Alexa app and so now she turns the fountain on at sunrise and sunset. I dont have to worry about making the time adjustments since she knows the time each day. Great!

This is an excellent product, and even moreso if you plan yo pair it with Alexa, which since its Amazon Basics its a breeze to set up in Alexa. I have an outdoor pond with a circulation pump that must be turned on daily in the warm weather less it becomes a mosquito pit. I had an old outdoor manual-set timer that had it going on and off at different intervals, which worked. But, its nice to be able to control it when I want without having to go outside. Plus, I can set it to permanently be off in the winter via the app instead of messing with the timer dial when it gets cold. I particularly like this model because it has two plugs that are independently controlled. Ill likely get some lighting that Ill put around the pond one day, and it will be nice to have a dedicated controllable outlet for those as well. Overall, this is a perfect outdoor application for a smart plug. Highly recommend!

We had one of the staked timer outlet boxes that kept having issues - set to turn on at dusk for several hours, but if it was cloudy/dark enough during the day it would activate sometimes. I purchased this outdoor smart plug after having purchased an indoor smart plug strip and having great luck with scheduling Alexa routines with that. I figured this would similarly do the same for our outdoor holiday lights. So far, this has worked flawlessly. It turns on and off right on schedule every day. The construction is solid and no worries about the weather.

We have several Wi-Fi plugs and devices, the Amazon ones, like this one, are so easy to set up.

Purchased this to use for my outside Christmas decorations. It was easy to install and Alexa was turning the lights on and off without any problem. Planning on getting another one of these for the back yard. Very pleased with it!
