I have had my work bag for 3 months and it is holding up well. A big relief for my shoulder.

I carry a laptop, accessories and files back and forth to work and my traditional over the shoulder laptop bag was giving me a backache. I decided to go full on dork and give in to the rolling laptop case. First things first, my back is grateful for this bag. So are my shoulders. It has a nice front section for my pens, badges, binder clips and small accessories. The first zippered compartment has velcro so I can strap in my laptop. There is a padded divider to keep my laptop safe. The back part of the compartment holds a good number of files and notebooks. My only complaint is that the front and back arent completely separate so sometimes a folder or notebook will slip and slide under the divider. Its not a big deal but slightly annoying sometimes. The rear compartment is where I keep my softphone headset, adapter, mouse and other accessories. This is my least favorite part of the bag. The handle is separated from the compartment by a thin layer of plastic. Sometimes I worry if one of my peripherals might get damaged by hitting it. Nothing has happened so far but a little bit of padding would have given me greater peace of mind. The handle is good. Its not the sturdiest handle Ive ever come across but its been through a couple of rough days and made it. I wish that the handle retracted down into the case a bit more. When I zipper the back slot when the handle is all the way down, I have to struggle a bit to get it closed all the way. This is a product that truly lives up to its name - Basic. Its functional and gets the job done with no extra bells and whistles.

The bag was affordable and the storage space and compartments are great. The laptop area has padding to secure the laptop and keep away from other items in the briefcase. The handle doesnt seem to be too sturdy but Ive had the briefcase for about a month and is holding up well. I will continue to handle it with care. I work remotely two days out of the week so the bag is great to load files, laptops, and office supplies I carry back and forth every day.

This case is economically priced and delivers as expected and advertised. Unfortunately, there is one feature that is missing which makes a world of difference when traveling with other luggage pieces. I didnt think of this missing feature until I left the door with my 28 luggage and this rolling laptop case. After locking my door as I left for the airport, I had the 28 in my left hand and this laptop case in my right. As I began to roll them it became difficult to roll them simultaneously and in a straight line. Therefore I retracted the rolling handle of the laptop case and placed it on top of my luggage only to find that there is no way to secure it on top of the luggage. Other laptop rolling cases may have an opening in the back of the outer cover to place a larger luggage pieces handle through so that it is secured - stacked on top of each other and rolled with one hand. This laptop case doesnt have it, resulting in the need to PUSH the 28 luggage with this case balanced on top as opposed to tilting the luggage 45 degrees and pulling it in tow. As one would expect, it made it slower and less maneuverable to move with the 2 pieces, especially when crossing the street where there isnt a ramp. If this rolling laptop case had the opening in the back, it would be a 5 star product. As a consolation, the material is a more fabric like ballistic nylon, seemed durable, not too heavy of a bag, and rolled just fine. The wheels were of the right size...not too small and was able to take beating on my trip to Japan which required a bit of walking with the luggage. If you plan on taking this with other luggage on a trip, you may want to find one with an opening in the back.

Im a 2L law student. I have a lot of books. This does not cut it. I received the bag today, will be sending it back tomorrow. Cannot recommend, definitely not keeping it. I also think for what I got, it was priced about 20% too high, assuming my stuff fit the bag. Quality Flaw: Im starting with this, because it was the ultimate nail in the coffin on this bag. Im including a picture. I pulled back the flap inside the bag that covers the framework for the handle, and you can see the grommets for the bottom of the case. Not only is one damaged (see the portion of metal missing), but some of the rivets do not look like theyre going to hold up, one is completely rusted, and all the others have started rusting. Guessing thats why you see a silica packet they included. Doesnt look like it did its job. I would guess this area would get much much worse over a years time. Front pouch: Entirely too small to hold much of anything, in my opinion. Yes, it will hold a few pens and business cards. Beyond that, I think youre out of luck. It has more little compartments than it will be able to hold items. I know if I was keeping the bag, the only thing I would end up using that section for would have been a phone charger/usb cables. Interior: Two or three days a week I need to take at least a couple of moleskine planners, three large textbooks and a 3-ring binder on campus with me. Usually, my laptop and another binder, plus a notebook, are added to that. Obviously a backpack would kill my back, which is why I need something that rolls and has room. The answer was not this bag. First, the large area is actually two medium areas, separated by a flap down the middle, which is not secured at the bottom, so if you toss in something smaller, good luck guessing which section it will end up in. Second, the sections are too small for my purposes. I can JUST fit a regular sized textbook in there, my ConLaw textbook (anyone who has taken ConLaw knows thats the biggest book to ever exist) is too thick to fit. Assuming I dont use the bag for my ConLaw book, I still cant fit two textbooks side by side, which is the whole point of getting a wider bag. I also couldnt fit a binder and a textbook in a single section. Very frustrating. Bottom line, I could have fit maybe two textbooks, a spiral notebook, a pencil case (since you cant use the front), and my laptop in this bag. Probably my moleskine planners as well. But I dont know what Id do with my bigger textbook and two binders. Assumedly I would have to use a second bag, but that defeats the purpose of a rolling bag in my mind. Extending Handle: This actually looked pretty nice and sturdy. I pulled it out once and then collapsed it back. At that point I knew the bag wasnt for me, so I didnt really care to pay it much more attention. You do have to unzip a portion of the bag to get the handle out. This is probably very handy for some people who want to put the handle away and not see it/worry about it getting caught on anything. Strap Handles: They velcro together with a handle wrap, if youre into that kind of thing, then its great. I dislike such wraps. Fabric: Seemed very sturdy, thicker than my High Sierra backpack (which has ripped, btw), and just as sturdy as my Timbuk2 bags, although the Timbuk2 fabric is lighter and I would trust it more. Wheels/bottom: I forgot to look… Sorry!

I really like this bag. It’s a great value, and the quality is very nice. The wheels work well, it’s sturdy, and it holds a lot. The one thing I’m not crazy about is that the fabric separating the two large zipper pockets is open at the bottom, so sometimes small items go through from one side to the other. I use it for work, and I like to keep toys and supplies for my students in one side and my laptop and tablet in the other side, but smaller items end up on the laptop side. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying.

    Basic bag for work.

I like the bag. It has prevented some back aches. I use it to carry equipment and a tablet for work. It can be heavy if you need to lift it by the handles. Wheels are noisy. Co-workers tease me because they know exactly when I have entered the office. I have been using mine since April 2017. Fabric that separates compartments tore some time ago. I just threw the bag away, but I could have continued to use it. The wheels look like they are about to fall off or fall apart. They have looked like that for months, but are still rolling. I purchased a second one months ago and will purchase another when needed. Handles are sturdy. Use them at least 3 times a day. Adustable handle works well but can be a little difficult to hide away. I never store it anyway. The wheels have stood up to rolling on concrete for 0.3 to 0.5 miles for about 300 days.

This case has saved my life. I purchased this to go back and forth from home (WFH for part of the week) to my office. I cant believe how many files/folders and binders this holds. I do not use this case for a laptop but could easily fit one even with everything else I have in it. The weight distribution is awesome. The handle works very well I can even fit a lunch bag over the top and the wheels work great even on rough terrain. I would definitely recommend this product.
