Amazon Smart Plug, for home automation, Works with Alexa - A Certified for Humans Device

Amazing product bought one several years back and its worth it!

This was so easy to install and it only took a couple of minutes to set up the routine so I only have to say Alexa lights on or Alexa lights off to turn the lamps on and off. I can also use the Alexa app on my phone and turn the lights on before I go in the house. I feel much safer this way. I love it!

Just finished a complete master bathroom rebuild and added my fun little lamp, Fergie to it. I wake up in the middle of the night and say Alexa Fergie On and I have complete light to the bathroom. Back to bed and say Alexa Fergie Off and its back to sleep for me! This smart plug synced automatically with my Echo Dot as soon as I plugged it in. So easy! Location is several walls away from my router and I have had no trouble with it staying connected to my Wifi. I am totally sold on the Amazon Smart Plug!

I can add voice control to lamps or almost anything else. I can relocated it and use it with something else if I want. I use it to control a lamp in my family room that was always difficult to reach by hand. Happy!

Easy to install along with downloading Alexa. Bought two for when I am out of town, but I still use it when I am at home. Totally satisfied. Wished I had bought them sooner!

Initial installation was easy. Paired with Alexa quickly and was easy to turn on and off a light using Alexa voice commands or Alexa phone app. Adding a routine to turn on and off a light at a preset time was much more difficult. Plug came with no instructions. You must access online instruction on Amazons website. They were incomplete and confusing. I finally found a You Tube site that was step by illustrated step that helped me get the routine up and running. It now works perfectly but it was a long road.

Makes turning stuff on and off so easy. I figured it was going to make me a little lazy and it might have, but I can walk into the room with my hands full and just say turn on the light. And can turn the light on or off from the app. Love it!
