AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Shipping box was ok, but the AMD box inside had its tamper seal cut, and the tears on the box indicated it had already been opened before. I bought this CPU with the bundled game Uncharted, but I did not find any coupon or redeemable code inside. The CPU looked ok visually, but I didnt bother checking the pins in detail or whether it works, since I will raise a return request. This is disappointing from Amazon because it must have been tampered with BEFORE packing and shipping.

For most people including hard core gamers, this is the CPU you need, unless you run some professional software that specifically calls for more than 6 CPU cores. It gets within a couple FPS of the fastest CPUs money can buy in games, and is just as snappy with normal apps including MS Office type stuff and web browsing with a couple hundred tabs open, which I am prone to doing. It also uses less power and requires less cooling. I upgraded to a 5800x because I am a PC upgrade freak, but honestly I kind of have buyers remorse as I cant tell any difference in performance and had to spend another $85 on a beefier cooler for the 5800x. In retrospect I should have stuck with the 5600x and kept the extra $160.

Pase de un 1700 a este, el computador fluye en juegos, es mas rapido al arrancar, no lo he probado en mas ambitos. Logre un incremento en Valorant de 200 FPS (16GB ram, Ryzen 1700 y RX580) a 300 FPS cambiando solo el procesador.

Works great! Its a nice upgrade from my Ryzen 7 1700X. Updated the bios on my X470 motherboard, dropped in the new processor and BAM. Benchmark overall score, by only changing the processor, went from 2632 to 3268!

Just what i needed for improved performance and to run win 11.

my previous CPU is 1600X and while it was no slough, this 5600X does make you feel the difference, especially if you can pair it with your GPU and enable resizable BAR, gaming will be much more smoother

Easy to install and come with heatsink and fan which I didnt use. I was less than happy with the price. I had it in my basket at one price but was charged another higher price when I checked out. I must learn to keep an eye on such things.
