Bought it for video creation/editing and the rare game; for shitz and grins, I built my rig with water cooling M.2 NVMe boot SSD and only SSD drives (using HAS for storage). Im able to OC to 4.3 GHz on all cores with 3600 MHz on 3466 RAM and get Cine15 scores up to 1983 (disable all other background crap). Yes, it isnt an Intel screamer, but I saved a lot of money on the CPU and motherboard with a great system regardless. It is not about all the case LED lights and posting your numbers on social media, it is about getting work done (and a very few games in downtime).

You will not notice the difference between this and a core 9 and it it is a WHOLE LOT less expensive.

Just... how. How do you mess up *screws*? The screws are not long enough to reach the motherboard on the stock cooler. They cant be tightened. They cant be loosened. They only make a grinding noise as they spin in their docks. Dont bee fooled by the threads near the head in the pictures - those are decorative springs. That is as far as the screw extends. It cannot be pushed, or tightened, further than that.

Great CPU, much better deal now than the 3700x, not worth paying the extra for the 3700x at the moment, this CPU delivers great speeds.

Ce processeur envoi du bois pour le calcul 3D pro (image de synthèse) installé sur CM Msi Gaming pro Carbon x470 la fréquence de base est 3650 MHz sur les 8 cœurs mais il ne se boost pas tout seul à 4100 MHz, j’a certainement loupé quelque chose, le logiciel amd master est à chier ne pas le télécharger...
