AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Processor with Wraith Spire LED Cooler - YD2700BBAFBOX

I use this for resembling genomes. Easy breezy fast and cheesy. Maxed to 100% load on 16 threads this runs at about 55C when assembling genomes, it barley knows it working. This is using the spire fan it comes with, I like the fan it comes with from AMD. Using this with 64 Gb of memory, there is little you can not do.

For a measly 150 dollars, this 8 core 16 thread processes is a mind boggling value, and convinced me to upgrade from my original i5 processor that I originally had. The only issue was that ryzens hunger for good memory caused a bit of pain, as my original memory kit wasnt up to the task, so I needed to upgrade, so make sure youve got high quality ram if you buy this processor

Good performing procesor

The chip I replaced is slower, well at least on paper. When I installed this it made the computer much slower

I discovered that the manufactured date is 2017, and the seller did not mention this point on the website.

Grabbed it for just £160 on flash deal no processor at that price comes any were near the 2700

Processore ottimo! stabile veloce ma pultroppo il radiatore con la ventola in dotazione non sono allaltezza delle prestazioni termiche della CPU (temperatura sempre sopra i 50°C). A peggiorare il mio giudizio la rottura della ventola che mi ha obbligato a cambiare il sistema di raffreddamento ( DeepCool 400 Gammaxx V2 25€ ) scoprendo che la CPU ora in condizioni di carico non supera i 57°C e con uso normale non supera i 43°C. Nota positiva, dalla ventola guasta (??) ho recuperato la striscia LED rgb che installerò nel case del PC.
