AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

This came with a coupon for Assassins Creed Valhalla. After Amazon sent me the coupon code, AMD denied me saying it had already been claimed.

After 2 weeks i figured it was bad cpu and not other component that was crashing my system. I had to lock cpu to base clock speed in bios to boot into windows. The movement it gets over 3.9 clock it crashes the system. Its amazon that sold bad chips on prime day and wont even replace the cpu. Amazon prime day was Waste of time and money. My build is incomplete without cpu.

This chip is one of the best chips I’ve ever used, if not the best. 8 cores running in the near constant 4 GHZ is real fast. Games such as Squad and cyberpunk are very easy to run with this chip when paired with my RTX 2060Super. Has a low power consumption of around 65 watts which is VERY good for a chip this fast. This chip however does create a fair bit of heat which is to be expected from the speeds and performance this thing outputs. Make sure you have a few case fans with good airflow and you’re all good to go.

Ryzen 7 3800X is the best CPU that I have ever had. I have an all core O.C. of 4.45 @1.325V stable. Stock it will boost to 4.525 and will do it on all cores but it hits nearly 1.5V (insane) even if AND says its normal. Ich habe das Paket heute morgen erhalten und wollte direkt damit beginnen meinen neuen PC zusammenzusetzen.

Pedazo de bestia de procesador, en una placa B550 funciona extraordinariamente bien. Si la placa fuese X570 se le podia exprimir algo más. Muy satisfecho con la compra.

Après un processeur renvoyé pour cause de température excessive (aux conditions dorigine), cette deuxième livraison est la bonne : au lieu de 95°C en charge avec un ventirad Noctua NH-C14S je suis descendu à 75°C en stock et avec une baisse de la tension dalimentation du processeur (Offset de -0,3V), je tourne maintenant en charge (OCCT) à 60°C. Que du bonheur ! Merci à Amazon pour la réactivité du retour.

My 3800x seems to be an average performer. I have seen many others get better clocks but nothing to drastic. I am happy with the stability and what all this processor can do. I dont think the 3800x is worth it over the 3700x unless you get a deal on it.
