Amazingly fast, upgrading from an older 2nd gen i7 920 is like stepping into the future. I recommend finding a MOBO that doesnt require bioflashing out of the box to run it but if you know your way around bios updating its worth the effort and money saved to go with a b550 board. Mine is running above stock clock and turbo and benching almost as high as a thread ripper in cinebench so your mileage may vary.

I upgraded from the 2600X which was overclocked to 4.2Ghz and the 5800X at stock clock outperforms it by a long shot, Ive gained over 50FPS and I still havent overclocked it. Awesome CPU!
