AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

If youre getting this for gaming, youre almost better off getting a cheaper ryzen7 and spending the money on a better video card. Still a great gaming CPU but not entirely worth the extra money. Now if youre using it for things like machine learning and such, this thing is a beast. Cant beat it for the price, except maybe for the new xt that just came out. Thread rippers are nice but a bit too much on the pricey side for me.

Finally switch to team red after been in team blue for 20+ years. It is an awesome CPU and a lot of horsepower that suit my need, no regret!

Was going to get the 3950X but chose this instead. The price gap does not justify the jump to 16 cores. Quick install, test run and everything works perfectly.

What can i say. AMD really killed it with this CPU. I would easy buy this one again if i needed to.

I won 35fps on planet coaster compared to 8700k and 2700x, SMT off and PBO enable ... it is just excellent in 1440p game, make the right settings to lower the voltage that seems too high without OC. I do not regret my purchase! Thank you AMD ;)

At this time 2020 dec, I found this amd 3900x ryzen 9 the best bang for buck cost to performance ratio.

I wanted to build an editing computer that exceeded the requirements of the software to avoid and type of bottle necking or performance lag. It has been smooth and flawless. I built the system in October 2020. I have shot hours of work at 6K resolution and there is no sign of bogging down in playback. Rendering is smooth and fast as well.

Tras los 4 meses que utilizo este procesador puedo decir que el AMD Ryzen 9 3900X es una auténtica bestia en rendimiento, su multinúcleo es lo mas destacado por que tengo muchas aplicaciones que son pesadas al mismo tiempo y funcionan rápidamente, algo de esperar con esos 24 hilos. También me gusta jugar muchos video juegos y ese cyberpunk 2077 que es tan exigente me funciona super bien con este procesador.

I bought this and upgraded from a 3600 and while the extra cores and threads make loading much faster, it only overclocks to 4.18ghz
