Great upgrade from my 4790k. Mainly run simulations like CFD and FEA than gaming and it runs them so quickly. Think I got very lucky with the cpu as I can run it at 4.3ghz all core @ 1.3v with a asus x570 e motherboard. Cant recommend this cpu enough.

Jai longtemps hésiter pour le montage de mon nouveau pc , je voulais des performanceS en jeux mais également dans les logiciels.

Even with a noctua cooler on it, it can get pretty hot on default settings. I used Ryzen Master to lock the volts a bit lower, and got the cores locked at 4250 it runs more stable and steady now. Ran an iray render in CPU mode for hours with no crash, on default it would crash after a while. Hasnt gotten hotter than 80C since I tweaked it, was hitting high 90s before with iray render. This thing was a huge bump in both benchmark score, and in program performance from my 2600x. More than I expected, usually when I upgrade CPU benchmark goes a bit up, but I dont notice any difference other than that.

This chip is unreal OK? INTEL IS DONE FOR! No one can deliver performance per dollar like AMD, and when performance per dollar ceases to compromise on overall performance there is NOTHING that should be stopping you from buying this thing. Forget gaming, which AMD is neck in neck (For REAL this time!), but just about any task you can throw at this thing it will chew up spit out and ask for seconds. Video Editing, Virtual Computing, EVEN LIGHT SERVER WORK THIS CAN DO! For those of you that criticize maybe the 1FPS that intel has over AMD, consider this. These days graphics cards are the single influence in most AAA titles, and for all the rest, well, lets just say i ditched intel and never looked back. Running this with my AsRock X470 Taichi (OVERKILL for a chip like this) and 16gb of G Skills Flare X (cas14) OCed to 3400 with my GTX 1080 all i can say is WOW

El procesador es una pasada........teniendo en cuenta que soy streamer, con el warezone en calidad máxima en directo con el Spotify, Telegram, discord, WhatsApp pc y el mismo OBS que ya de por sí chupa que flipas......al cambiar de programas lo mismo me tarda 0,003 milisegundos (por indicar a la velocidad que me refiero) muy recomendable
