AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

I have always been an Intel user all of my life, but after my 5820k started getting a bit slow for my needs, I started looking for an upgrade. I have always thought of AMD as something that is considered to be a budget low performance build, but this has changed with the Ryzen Zen 2 architecture. I was split between either the Intel i7 9900K or this chip. Just looking at the raw performance specs for the Ryzen already shifted my attention away from Intel for the first time. The multi-core performance on this chip destroys Intels by a long shot. Sure, the single core performance is better on the Intel which means it is slightly better for gaming, but who only games on their PC? For someone like me who also works with video rendering/gaming streaming, there was only one clear winner. I have been able to throw anything at the 3900x, and it does not even struggle at all. My video render times at 4K have dropped by more than 3x. When I stream at slow preset for x264, my CPU is only using at max 20% load.

Fast stable and consistent. This just chugs away at the process till complete. Video/photo/audio editing, compressing/decompression, simulation, cad/cam, rendering, format conversions, or even just large multi application tasks like never before. Recommend!

Coming from a Zen+ 2600x, no need for dual PCs for streaming and gaming at once. Paired with a 2060super and 32GB ram this thing screams! little overkill but wellworth it.

Suggerisco questo prodotto se tu fai ricerche scientifiche o produzioni di video o grafica. CPU molto potente. Ma devi avere una scheda madre forte e un dispositivo di raffreddamento di alta qualità. Altrimenti non sarai in grado di utilizzare completamente questa CPU. Non dimenticare di utilizzare una pasta termica di alta qualità. Fondamentalmente non è necessario fare overclock. La CPU è così intelligente da farlo per te.

What can I say? If you are aware of AMDs CPU performance as of late, you already know they are amazing. My last CPU was the 1700X(which I still have) but in my new build I got the 3900X with a Noctua Chromax CPU cooler, and a faster NVMe drive(WD SN750 BLACK), and it is simply amazing so far! My case has plenty of airflow because I got the CoolerMaster MasterBox MB511 with the mesh front, so the whole front panel is intake and then is has more ventilation on top and back. Im quite pleased! This CPU has about 30% faster performance per core than the 1700X and almost twice the performance if using all the cores compared to the 1700X. I also have dual channel CAS16 3600MHz ram. Go team red!
