> 3 dayThis charger was recommended by a relative who is very satisfied with its apparent quality and its speed. She uses it to simultaneously charge her Kindle Fire and her android smartphone. That feature of charging two devices at once may be an important purchasing factor for some of you. I personally have only used it once (for a Nexus 7). I used the cord that came with the Nexus. It was very fast. According to Google information, the charger and not the cord is the determining factor in performance, so long as the the cord is not at fault. They say that the cord supplied with most devices is usually acceptable. However I dont yet have accurate timing figures. The charger is heavy, seem to be of high quality and makes a tight fit with the extension cord socket. According to Google, and this is a generality, many devices fully charge in 6-7 hours (from being dead) with their supplied charger (typically 5 watts). 9 watt chargers and higher can cut this time in half. Well see about that. Hope this info is useful to someone ... Sam

> 3 daywe own many of Ankers units. They are perfect for multi device households. small enough to pack in a ipad case. We will continue to purchase these as they have withstood use and abuse while other brands have not.

Greater than one weekMy main purpose of this purchase was because of my new Anker Powercore Charger 20,000mAh. At first, I charged my powercore with an Apple iPad outlet box and it took 3 hours for one bar (total of 12 hours to charge the whole powercore). In the Powercore packaging, it recommended this product (Anker QuickCharge3.0. I gave it a shot and my Powercore took 6-7 hours max with the Quickcharge3.0 . It may still seem a lot, but I think it is an improvement by 50%. I have no complaints so far.

Greater than one weekBefore buying this charger, I had previously purchased other Anker products such as a 2 port USB car charger and a 20100mah portable charger. So I was already aware of how great Anker products are. This charger works extremely well and I would recommend it to anyone! The only reason it lost a star on “For Traveling” is because the two outlet prongs do not fold against the charger and are therefore always sticking out. Just something to be aware of if you are going to throw it in a bag or bring it somewhere.

> 3 dayAfter over a year of use, I noticed that only one of the two ports was working. However, my warranty window had just ended. In any case, just for trying, I wrote a note to Anker about it. I really didnt expect much since I had already giving the charger a good use; but, to my surprise, a customer service rep contacted me the next day with a very polite note apologizing for my troubles and they immediately sent me a brand new replacement, which I received in just 3 days. That is the sign of an outstanding company that is proud of their products and is commited to customer satisfaction. Anker products are not ony very good and lasting, they also give you an excelent customer service and an outstanding warranty. As their customer, Im just very happy....
