excellent charger!! Charges faster and charging lasts longer

Anker is an awesome company. I previously purchased one of their other chargers and didnt really like the bright blue light on that particular charger. Anker suggested I try this one and I am glad I did. The dimmer is great. The light doesnt bother me at night and its just bright enough to find it when I take it on the road with me to remind me not to forget it in a hotel room. It charges really quickly, and has no problem charging everything I plug into it. Mostly Im using it for an apple watch and an iphone, so two usb ports is perfect and it charges really fast. I dont know how it works so well, but it does.

We now have multiple quick charge capable smartphones in our home, and my OEM Motorola Turbo Charger is my most frequently forgotten travel accessory, leaving me with a slow trickle charge when traveling. I wanted something that would charge at maximum speed, which I could keep in my computer bag, and which would charge more than one device. This is not tiny, but it is very well designed not to block other power outlets, and I confirmed that my Motorola Droid Turbo 2 **does** recognize this as a Turbo Power supply--i.e., it will charge at maximum speed.

Looked to be a great charger, but stopped working 3 months after purchase.

Im updating this review. You will find my original review below. Immediately after posting my previous 1 star review I was contacted by Anker. They sent out a replacement charger, free of charge (no pun intended), and it works as I would have expected. I am updating this review from 1 star to 5 not just because the new charger works, but because when Anker learned that my first charger failed, they stepped up and replaced it. Thats great customer service! Thank you Anker! I have just purchased two more of these chargers, for a total of four. They work very well and having two fast charging ports means never having to wait long for a device to charge. I bought two of these in August 2018, one for me and one for my wife. At first both chargers worked very well, my wifes still does. Initially, plugging my Galaxy Note 5 into either port of my charger, my phone would show Fast Charging and it would charge very quickly. Over time the fast charging only worked with one port, and now neither port will fast charge, and now when I plug my phone in I get a message that the phone is discharging faster than it is charging. If I plug my phone into my wifes charger it fast charges, with either port. Ive tried different cables, different outlets, different power strips all with the same result. I switched out the cables for the cables in my wifes charger, no change. Im surprised by this because Ive never had problems with Anker or Anker ROAV products before. I cannot recommend this charger.

Was bigger than I expected but didn’t disappoint. I’ve had this for almost a year now. I get great charging speeds on my iPhone 8 Plus. Will definitely buy more products from them.

Maybe because the plug blades are not polarized and because of the units weight, you have to be sure the charger is firmly inserted in a socket and wont slide free because of position or tension. It charges really well and quickly for my LG phone.
