> 3 dayI bought this thinking it was a fast charger. Well apparently fast doesn’t mean fast. Like another reviewer, I ordered this thinking it was a PD charger. The other reviewer got sent a PD charger free of charge! Not me. They offered a 30% refund on my purchase. They don’t treat all customers the same.. which is totally absurd. I’ll stick to buying OEM Apple chargers from now on

> 3 dayMulti-port chargers have been a godsend for everyone in the gadget world. It’s sometimes the only way to keep up with all the gadgets that we own these days (smartphones, tablets, fitness trackers, etc). The latest generation of multi-port chargers from Anker makes things easier than ever to make sure that ALL of your gadgets get not only charged, but charged as quickly as possible. Everyone knows the drill with dual and multi-port chargers. Depending on your device (iPhone, iPad, Android phone w/Quick Charge, Android phone w/o Quick Charge, etc), you need to match up the proper port to make sure you get charged at the proper speed. Missing the mark can mean incredibly slow charging, or sometime no charging at all. Anker’s PowerPort 2 throws all of that out the window! Now any port will match WHATEVER speed charging your device needs. Have an iPhone that needs only 1A. Check. An iPad that needs 2.1 amps? Check. Need to charge an android phone with Quick Charge 2.0 or 3.0? Done. The new Anker Speed Series ports can handle any and everything you throw at them. Anker has combined PowerIQ, VoltageBoost, AND Quick Charge 3.0 technology into their new ports. Totally awesome and makes things simpler than ever to get charged in a hurry. I tested the PowerPort 2 (2016) with an iPhone SE, iPad Air 2, Galaxy S7 Edge, and the new Galaxy Note 7. Everything charged at full speed and the Samsung devices registered as “fast charging” as expected. A few design notes. The charger itself is not small, but it has a slim profile. Anker designed it to avoid blocking neighboring ports on power strips. Thank you! And the charging indicator LED even has a built-in light sensor to adjust brightness depending on the environment. So no more bright light keeping you up at night while your devices charge. These are the little extras you come to expect from Anker. The only thing I would’ve liked to have seen different in the design is fold-able prongs. It would’ve been easier to pack away in your bag without worrying about jabbing something. So, this is THEE way to go if you want a charging block that can charge everything and the kitchen sink. This is the future of multi-port charging right here, folks. I was provided a sample of this product in exchange for an honest and fair review. The opinions in this review are my own.

Greater than one weekThe unit is made well, clean, compact, and seemingly high quality. On a direct-to-phone cord charge, the unit will provide fast charge status to a Samsung S10+. However, on a Samsung Fast-Charge wireless charger, the unit will not provide a fast charge; only a normal charge. Overall, I like the unit and will use it for travel, since it minimizes the number of power units I must have for a tablet and a phone. However, if you depend on fast-charging wirelessly with a fast-charge Samsung Qi puck, this is not your baby.

> 3 dayI have bought several Anker products (Cables, chargers, external battery chargers...) as the quality has always been top-notch. I recently had one of the two charger ports stop working (First issue ever for any Anker product) on my quick charger 2.0...I was very pleased to have a great experience with their warranty process - It was replaced after answering a few questions. So now I have proven they will stand behind their products Im sticking with Anker.
