> 3 dayGreat for gaming, no dead pixels or any issues whatsoever three years in. Love that I can move it around in so many angles and it still feels sturdy. The color display and brightness is excellent. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI love the clarity, color, and the smoothness. This is by far one of the best screens I’ve ever used for any media consumption. I hadn’t used AOC but I’m impressed with their quality, the build of the monitor and stand are top notch. At first the monitor didn’t arrive, but I was patient and waited for Amazon to replace it and I’m so happy I stuck it out because this monitor is amazing! I will absolutely be buying a second in the future to extend my setup, but for now the size of a single is plenty for any gaming or media you might do.

> 3 dayAfter hooking up this screen, updating the drivers in Windows 11 (seriously, go to the website and update the drivers!), and tweaking some of the screen settings, I noticed that the desktop images have lines in them. There are also other spots I noticed initially, but cant remember exactly where, so Im not sure if the lines are a thing with VA screens or it happens that mine does it but others dont, however, since it isnt noticeable in games and theyre not visible when Im coding or writing, I just will likely learn to ignore it. Besides that, I love having a 1440p screen for just about everything I do. Yes, it gets a little weird when Im scrolling on a doc (from the motion blur), but still, at about 2 feet from the screen it makes everything easier to read and way easier to deal with reading long lines of code or writing and I dont have to scroll as much to keep working on the same section which is definitely nice. Yes, the blur means I can no longer slowly scroll read, but again, since Im scrolling far less, it actually probably is a wash overall. I also absolutely love the high refresh rate even though Im definitely not using it to its fullest with the games I play (LoL, Timberborn, Bloons TD games, etc) and on games where you have fewer graphic control settings (looking at you Bloons) you can get this interesting screen flashing, but its actually pretty minor when you actually are playing, but games where I can control the settings, in the game itself it doesnt happen. It can sometimes occur on loading screens, but again, pretty minor. Overall, its a decent budget 1440p monitor with decent capabilities and fits my desk just fine. I do have it on a monitor arm with my second screen and though the arm was designed for 24 inch monitors, the curve means it can fit the 27 inch just fine without messing up my secondary 24 inch 1080p screens angle. As well, unlike some of the other brands in this price range, it did have a Vesa 100 mount and took a standard computer cable for power, so I didnt have to run a separate cable (I already have a computer cable splitter to power my 2 monitors) versus a lot of brands now, so that was a plus for me, but might not be for you. Lastly, its got a bezel thats not too thick, but the monitor controls without their software are hard to use, so thats also something youll want to download if you buy the monitor to use as you tweak it for your environment.

Greater than one weekEs un buen monitor para juegos, en especial por su tasa de refresco, pero en 1080 navegando, parece que las letras tienen sombreado.

> 3 dayThis product when I recieved it, said it was 165hz... After adjusting the properties on the pc, the highest setting was only 144hz... There also wasnt any instructions on how to adjust the hz itself on the moniters settings as well. But it is a good monitor and affordable... it isnt 165hz like it says it is.

> 3 dayI have been currently using this monitor for the past two and a half months, and my experience with it has been an interesting one. Firstly lets get the specs out of the way. This is one of the cheapest monitors that you can buy that gives you 1440p, 27, 144Hz refresh rate, Adaptive Sync, and 1ms response time. Most other panels of this quality are around $300 minimum, so getting this for $260 is a steal. In addition, the stand for being a budget monitor is fantastic. Giving you both tilt and height adjustment is unheard of at this range. No corners were cut here. The picture quality is fantastic as well. QHD at 27 inches is a treat to look at (I was using a TN 1080p 24 60Hz monitor before). Also the control quality is fantastic as well. AOCs promise of a 3-year zero dead pixel warranty and 1-year accidental damage is extremely generous compared to the rest of the competition. If you do encounter a problem you should not worry about your few hundred dollar investment. Now here are some caveats and issues that I had faced with this monitor in the first month of use. For my PC I am using the AMD RX 5700 graphics card, which has always been prone to driver bugs and issues. During this first month of use, I had times where the monitor would not detect the GPU output and not switch inputs over to the connected HDMI. I would have to reboot the monitor entirely to get it working again. This however has been fixed with the latest AMD Adrenaline driver update. In addition, I had issues with how Adaptive Sync worked with my GPU. The most glaring issue being when I enable a custom GPU fan profile using MSI Afterburner, the monitor would go black for seconds at a time, and would occur every half minute or so. I would need to turn off my custom fan profile and suffer higher GPU temperatures in order to use my monitor. However, the latest AMD GPU driver patch fixed this issue as well. As of now, I have no issues with my PC detecting my monitor or face any strange issues with the display turning on and off. Aside from driver issues, the usual caveats with VA panels apply to this monitor as well. You have great contrast ratio with the better blacks than IPS or TN, but you do suffer from poorer GTG response times. This can lead to black smearing when your game encounters dark environments. I havent noticed this smearing in my own use, however YMMV. Also, the brightness is definitely on the lower side at 250 nits. I would have really appreciated 300 nits minimum. I use this monitor in a dark room so 250 nits is not an issue, but if you use this monitor in a naturally lit environment you may struggle to use this monitor. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this monitor, but my first month and a half of ownership of this monitor could have been smoother. Though this was at the fault of my own hardware and not the monitor. I anticipate anyone with an Nvidia GPU would not have face the same issues as I did. If you have a flat budget of $300, I highly recommend this monitor (if it is ever in stock). Otherwise, I would try to stretch the budget to get a brighter IPS gaming monitor.

> 3 dayUpdate #2 : Just bought myself a second AOC monitor, this time the 34 ultra wide 2k 144mhz. A very good monitor for gaming! So far Im liking this monitor a good deal. Its what Id expect. There is definitely better but absolutely nothing wrong with this one for the price point. You definitely want to have g-sync/adaptive sync off though. If youre getting this for that, then look elsewhere. But honestly both those features are pretty irrelevant IMO. Ive tested numerous gaming monitors from cheap to rich pig expensive and not one time was I ever like oh wow! That g-sync really made my experience better! In this monitors case, I find that it reduces performance while not improving picture quality much. Other than that its great.... no dead pixels, only slight ghosting on black screens, pixel response time is fast enough (again, as long as g-sync/adaptive sync are both turned off). Brightness is more than satisfactory for any room that isnt quite literally a room surrounded by glass windows. (outdoor use in the sun would be a bit rough, but who does that?) I have two primary complaints : 1) The curvature pretty much does nothing, as it is too slight for a monitor 27 or larger (i got the 27 here). Might be ok for a 24 or smaller. 2) Every single cable it came with was DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Even the power cord! This is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Luckily I had higher quality versions already available to me. Id recommend this to any gamer who isnt a top tier e-sports player and wants to spend a reasonable (as opposed to excessive) amount of money on a good monitor. I WOULD NOT recommend this to anyone who thinks g-sync and adaptive sync are essential to their gaming. Obviously considering my cable issues, Id also recommend you purchase your own ahead of time.
