This is much easier to use than the Yellow Jacket tool because I can feel whats going on inside when I remove the valve core. In vacuum I havent had a problem with either one, using a T/C gauge. The tip does tend to grab the valve core and pull it through the body of the tool, although this can occasionally take a few tries. Also on the Yellow Jacket, the captive nut can come off.

A great little quality piece , Im impressed all the way around. Worth the extra money to get a really good tool that will without a doubt stand up to any HVAC jobs you can throw at it .

Quality, well built, name branded tool that worked like a charm! Had a central ac condenser with a leaking valve core. Watched a few videos and one specifically by this parts manufacturer, Appion. Please watch their video first, then start practice seating replacement valve core into the tool to understand how it feels and holds. You do not want any potential for the valve core to fall off in the process so the fork on the end of the removal tool may have to be spread or snugged SLIGHTLY to hold the core tight. If so, use a pair of pliers to GENTLY do so. This adjustment is so minor you wont be able to see a difference - but you will feel it when inserting the valve core. Once comfortable with your skill fitting the tool, youll need to fit the removal tool to the leaking valve core just as you practices with the new one. Once you are confident it will hold snuggly, re-assemble tool and you can start the repair. Peace

This is a must for any HVAC Refrigeration technician. Easy to use and is magnetic, this is good to use to pull a vacuum without the shredder valve., or to replace shredder valves.

I have used this several times when charging or recovering refrigerant from HVAC equipment and it has worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product for any HVAC Tech or weekend warrior that does service or install work.
