I had use a cheaper knockoff on Amazon that was half the price. Well, It cost me way more money in lost time, and in Lost Freon. I paid for the right tool this time and this tool is the best. I cant believe how much better this was than the last one I had. Absolutely no one leak. I didnt have to crank down on it either. It actually holds without leaking even in a negative 30Hg. I did have a problem taking out one of the schrader valves but it was because I didnt get in all the way in. I had no problem once I tried again. I just line up the square part of the schrader valve like a USB port in a computer and make sure the two aline...then it comes out easy. This is a cant live without tool if you must touch your AC unit even ONE TIME. Trust me you dont want to lose your Freon or worst yet get injured when the knock off explodes like mine did. I already own Appion G 5 Twin which is the best and now this Appion MGAVCT 1/4 MegaFlow Vacuum-Rated Valve Core Removal Tool completes me. Just BUY 2 and that me later.

A little bit more expensive than other options but worth the cost. A high quality item that works great.

Works pretty good. The stem puller itself won’t grab most stems if they are not metal. You may have to slightly bend it to grab the stem so it doesn’t get stuck in the valve.

Quality, well built, name branded tool that worked like a charm! Had a central ac condenser with a leaking valve core. Watched a few videos and one specifically by this parts manufacturer, Appion. Please watch their video first, then start practice seating replacement valve core into the tool to understand how it feels and holds. You do not want any potential for the valve core to fall off in the process so the fork on the end of the removal tool may have to be spread or snugged SLIGHTLY to hold the core tight. If so, use a pair of pliers to GENTLY do so. This adjustment is so minor you wont be able to see a difference - but you will feel it when inserting the valve core. Once comfortable with your skill fitting the tool, youll need to fit the removal tool to the leaking valve core just as you practices with the new one. Once you are confident it will hold snuggly, re-assemble tool and you can start the repair. Peace

It works like a magic. a two stage camber that allow you to transition the valve through the body without loosing pressure. The tool is in high quality. just make sure not to over tight. By the way, Amazon deliver the tool at my front door within 3 hours after I placed the order. Unbelievable. and gas saving . . I am very happy.

Great idea, and the end removes for full bore evacuation. Had a few shreader cores I could not remove. May have to bend the ends down some. Unscrewed but just would not slide out, with pressure. Overall made very well.
