> 24 hourThe first time I used it it broke. A waste of money. I wish I could give it less than one star. It is cheaply made It was lightweight and packed in my suitcase well…. I left it in Paris in the trash.

> 24 hourThis is a folding umbrella with an ultra-small form factor. Folded and in its sleeve, the umbrella measures 7.5”x3”x1.5” and weighs 8 oz. It has a unique rectangular handle that encourages more rectangular than round folded shape. The rod is steel, while the ribs are a hybrid of steel in the center and plastic towards the outer rim. The top of the canopy is available in several colors, while the underside is painted black for sun protection. The rod is telescoping with a manual mechanism; it is 21” when fully extended. The canopy is 35” in diameter when fully extended. I am very impressed with the small size and light weight of this umbrella. It is perfect for travel when every inch and ounce counts. I also like the manual mechanism for the rod. I’ve had several otherwise perfect umbrellas fail due to an overly powerful spring-loaded extension mechanism that simply broke the 2nd or 3rd time I used them. Yes, you need 2 hands to extend this umbrella, but you’re not going to break it just by pushing the button to open it. The umbrella is not the largest that I have tried, but it’s not excessively small either, especially compared to its folded size. I have to admit, I was dubious when I first saw the small package that it came in, but indeed, the umbrella is fully functional, and I hope to get years of use out of it. Overall, this umbrella is a great choice for packing light.

> 24 hourI love these so much I bought more for everyone in my family for stocking stuffers! I have traveled a lot and these are some of the most lightweight umbrellas Ive ever found anywhere. Keep in mind that with lighter weight and smaller size you sacrifice some durability and coverage, But they are so great to carry on hand always for a little bit of sun shade or light rain. Concerts, parks, sporting events and more. Especially great for urban dwellers. LOVE!

> 24 hourIm currently traveling so I was able to use this in NYC during some light rain. I did have some difficulty in getting it to stay open. It is not automatic and took me a couple tries to get it to stay. It is very lightweight so there was concern a gust of wind could pull it out of my hand but luckily that did not happen. It is super compact and easily fit in my coat pocket which was a huge plus. Overall, I was happy with it and recommend if you are looking for a lightweight, compact umbrella.

> 24 hourMy husband gives us this for when he goes to work. He has to walk home we live only a couple blocks away, And this is a great lightweight umbrella for him to stick in his backpack and he can easily pull it out and use use it if its raining on his walk home. Its dirty and good quality and a really nice little umbrella.

> 24 hourThis is perfect for traveling although if I was closer to home or had more room in my bag, I would probably opt for a bigger umbrella. The material feels just a tiny bit flimsy and the umbrella can be a bit difficult to close but it does the job. Super lightweight and rain drips away from the umbrella so it doesn’t get on me. Held up under rainy and windy conditions in NYC. Good value for the price.

> 24 hourWhat isnt clearly apparent from the product photos is that the white umbrella is white material on the outside. Black material on the inside. Good feature for when you use the umbrella as sun protection instead of rain. I love tiny compact umbrellas you can fit into your back jeans pocket or glove compartment. For those days where it looks like its going to rain, but your gut says it wont. This tiny umbrella wont keep your entire body dry. But it will be enough to keep your hair dry.

> 24 hourThis umbrella/parasol is like your very own personal blackout awning because it is made in the same way as a blackout curtain: A reflective layer to deflect as much sun as possible and a dark, absorbent layer to keep the rest of the rays from reaching you. It folds up so tiny that you can fit it in an evening bag or even a generously-sized pocket. I really appreciate the locking/unlocking mechanism. It has a smooth metal button that protects your fingers from getting pinched when opening and closing the umbrella. When a hurricane/tropical depression I took it outside in the wind to test it and it did not break or flip inside out. Not bad!
