> 3 dayI love these so much I bought more for everyone in my family for stocking stuffers! I have traveled a lot and these are some of the most lightweight umbrellas Ive ever found anywhere. Keep in mind that with lighter weight and smaller size you sacrifice some durability and coverage, But they are so great to carry on hand always for a little bit of sun shade or light rain. Concerts, parks, sporting events and more. Especially great for urban dwellers. LOVE!

> 3 dayThis umbrella is perfect for traveling or when youre not sure if itll rain. Its small enough to fit inside a fanny pack while still having room for a couple of other things. Its not an automatic push-button umbrella, but its easy enough to open. The cover it provides is more than enough for one person and might cover 2 people if theyre close enough.

> 3 dayThis is a folding umbrella with an ultra-small form factor. Folded and in its sleeve, the umbrella measures 7.5”x3”x1.5” and weighs 8 oz. It has a unique rectangular handle that encourages more rectangular than round folded shape. The rod is steel, while the ribs are a hybrid of steel in the center and plastic towards the outer rim. The top of the canopy is available in several colors, while the underside is painted black for sun protection. The rod is telescoping with a manual mechanism; it is 21” when fully extended. The canopy is 35” in diameter when fully extended. I am very impressed with the small size and light weight of this umbrella. It is perfect for travel when every inch and ounce counts. I also like the manual mechanism for the rod. I’ve had several otherwise perfect umbrellas fail due to an overly powerful spring-loaded extension mechanism that simply broke the 2nd or 3rd time I used them. Yes, you need 2 hands to extend this umbrella, but you’re not going to break it just by pushing the button to open it. The umbrella is not the largest that I have tried, but it’s not excessively small either, especially compared to its folded size. I have to admit, I was dubious when I first saw the small package that it came in, but indeed, the umbrella is fully functional, and I hope to get years of use out of it. Overall, this umbrella is a great choice for packing light.

> 3 dayMy initial impression was that this umbrella is very compact. Of course it loses a bit of its compactness once opened the first time (Ive never succeeded in getting an umbrella, once opened, to look again like they did when shipped from the factory) but it remains pretty compact. It could fit into a pants pocket, or easily into a jacket pocket. It is lightweight, for sure. I havent had the chance to use it in a storm yet, but it does feel pretty sturdy considering its light construction. I got the white version. It is almost a silvery white on the outside, and black on the underside. It opens and closes fairly smoothly. While it is large enough for one person youd have to be pretty chummy with someone to share this umbrella with them. One of my guiding philosophies has always been, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. With umbrellas the usual decision centers around whether the threat of bad weather justifies the inconvenience of carrying around a clunky item all day long, especially if it may not actually rain. With this umbrella that decision becomes a bit easier. Youre far more likely to take this one than a regular, full size umbrella. This umbrella can also be used to shade you from the sun, although I dont usually carry an umbrella for that purpose myself.
