Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

cooled my 6 year old computer down after it started almost overheating. temps came down 30 degrees!

Used this for a new Core i5 system. My preliminary testing showed the CPU temperature not getting much higher than 35 degrees Celsius under fairly heavy load.

Arctic Silver has made my first PC building experience easy and enjoyable. The paste is easy to apply and spread. My i7-4790k manages to stay around 75 degrees Celsius under load and around 30 degrees idle with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler. Im sure I could have lowered the temperature even more had I used more paste.

Used this together with a larger/more efficient heat sink, and Im not sure if it is the thermal paste, the new heat sink, or the combination of the two, but my CPU temps have dropped about 15°C since I made the swap.

Been using this stuff for years, and it will continue to be the only thermal paste I buy

You cannot go wrong with this thermal paste. It is one of the best out there. Industry standard.

This package arrived on time and was packaged well. I used the compound on a newly purchased aftermarket vga cooler and it delivered the coolness to the vga chip as promised.
