Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Already used on e8500 Intel processor. Doing the job with no problems.

Worked as intended

After I applied this to both the processor and graphics chip in my Thinkpad w500 laptop, I was able to switch the ATI graphics card back on without the system overheating. Only thing I would even begin to complain about is the $30 price for so little of the compound

I have never bought any other thermal compound so cannot compare to others, but Arctic Silver 5 clearly worked great. Easy to apply and reduced the temperature of my CPU 25 degrees C, I bought new thermal compound because the old thermal compound was apparently not working anymore. Go figure.

I bought this thermal grease to fix my YLOD (yellow light of death) on my 1st Gen PlayStation 3. A buddy mine recommended that I try this Arctic Silver thermal grease. This grease is awesome! I was expecting it to be more like a thick liquid, but it was really thick and easy to apply. I have seen videos online of how to fix PS3s, and most of them use a much thinner grease that is harder and messier to apply. I just put a dime-sized ball in the center of the chips, and pressed the heat sinks back on. Just to make sure that I was doing it right, I removed the heat sink. The Arctic Silver had flowed perfectly and evenly from the center and was razor thin with absolutely no air bubbles.

My cpu fan was running 24/7 regardless of what I was doing on my PC. Put this stuff on and now it only runs with 1+ hour gaming.

Seems to work fine, havent done any comparison to others but whatever.

cooled my 6 year old computer down after it started almost overheating. temps came down 30 degrees!
