Ive been using Arctic Silver thermal paste for years now and have never had a problem with it.

Arctic silver is the best product on the market for cooling solutions. I have been using them for over a decade, and they blow any other compound paste out of the water. Not even a competition. You can expect to drop your cooling temps by 40% or more over your old compound. There are many variations available, just make sure you are selecting the right product for your needs.

Works great for heat transfer in cooling the CPU - just too bad the Motherboard the CPU was on got soaked - it helps with the heat, but not water :-)

Easy to use. Use sparingly, its expensive. Dont assume you know what to do. Follow the instructions! Some thermal compounds are impossible to remove. Arctic Silver cleans up with just a bit of isopropanol. Its clean and easy to use!

This stuff works very well, you dont need much to keep your cpu cool with a decent aftermarket cooler. Will buy again.

Used this after doing a kitchen oven reflow on my PS3 to fix the YLOD. I cant believe it worked. Still working after a couple of months too!

Great bit of paste-- though it does stick to your skin if you accidentally fumble the application. I had to apply twice as I was unable to get the heat-sink on properly the first time, but there was plenty left in the tube for a second try... and maybe even a fourth or a fifth! The syringe is easy to use and delivers a precise amount of paste that you want.
