Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

this is good paste its better than stock stuff but dont look for any huge temp changes it does bring them down a degree or two but mainly it keeps them cooler longer than stock applied paste and very much better than intels crap paste

This paste is quite -err, pasty. Arctic Silver 5 works well, after that ridiculously long 200 hour burn in period. For the most part, it keeps the temps low, and it spreads easily. For your thermal paste needs, Arctic Silver 5 will probably do the trick. Its not #1, but its far from bad.

I dont know what the hype is with this paste to be honest with you. I truly believe that the good reviews come from replacing your heat-sink and adding the arctic silver to your cpu. More like the heat-sink is what actually makes the difference in temperature and i will tell you why. I have two built PC and for built one i replaced the stock heat-sink and replaced it with coolermaster evo 212 and help my temperature by 10c lower and adding arctic silver paste with it. Since i had more paste left, i said what the heck let me add it to my other built PC but i didnt remove the intel stock heat-sink, and i got the same results, not a change at all in temperature. So in conclusion its a good combination with a good heat-sink, so this alone wont make a drastic change in temperature at all.

Adios heating issues!!!! Excellent product

Thermal material was provided with my DLP TV chip replacement kit so I didnt need to use it. However, when I did think I had to use it I found it VERY DIFFICULT to figure out how to use it. No instructions of any type. If you go to their website there are instructions for PC use only and not DLP TV use despite the fact that is recommended to use it in the first place.
