Greater than one weekI bought this for my Xbox wireless headsets since the pads that came with the headset are leather and after a while, the leather comes off and looks scaly. I wasn’t expecting a lot of these replacements but man that’s the beauty of it, they went above and beyond what I was hoping for. They’re more comfortable than the ones the original headset came with, those after about 30 minutes of use gave me a headache. They were easy to install on the headset no pullback was necessary, I just put them on wiggled it around until the whole pad was completely around the ear cup. There is noise cancelation but sometimes I can hear my fan running on the back, it might depend on what game youre playing and how your settings are, but I really don’t mind that at all, if that is something you’re wanting maybe check other options. Overall nice replacement earpads that I would definitely buy again if needed in the future.

> 3 dayGreat item! My original Arctis 7 that I have owned for nearly 5 years finally needed to be replaced. These are better than the original stock ear pads.

Greater than one weekThis is pretty close if not the same as the originals. There is just a bit of a difference to the audio since the new pads are cushioned where as my old pads were practically crushed and lost their cushion. Seems like you have to break them in a bit.

> 3 dayThat question hits my mind every time I get a new set of headphones as I live in the desert. When I bought a Takstar Pro 82 and its younger cousin Cooler Master MH 752 the stock pleather-lined cushions proved to be great winter earmuffs. Thus began a hunt for pads that breathe... Enter these...generic fabric pads made for the SteelSeries Arctis headphone lineup. The mesh that touches the skin may feel a tad itchy for the first few hours but afterwards, I had no issues with the fabric. Pleather lines the inside of the pad supposedly to keep the sound curve from sounding too light and airy like a lot of pure fabric and velour pads sound. The protective mesh screen is glued on by a piece of plastic which houses the foam and preserves the pads shape. The foam recovers too quickly to be memory foam but still is very soft. They can work for the Takstar Pro 82...as long as you are willing to cut out and attach 4mm foam rings to create a seal around the plastic tabs that hold the stock cushions in. Now they can stay on my head for hours without uncomfortable heat or sweat with little or no change to the sound and they isolate about as well as the stock pads too so the sound should not leak out to nosy roommates or siblings. I also found these pads a perfect fit for the Meze 99 Classics. Just peel off the stock pads and stretch these pads on. I heard nearly no change to the sound but of course your mileage may vary on these subjective matters. Considering how well they worked for these other two headphones, they should be fine on the actual headphone they were designed for. So if you have the Arctis, Takstar Pro 82, or the Meze 99, get yourself some breathable pads today because...summer is coming.

03-06-2025Purchased July 27, 2022...and ive barely used them in the 5 months it took for them to break. Update: Jan 3rd 2023 - Seller reached out to me and said they would do a full refund which I wasn’t expecting. I said ok. Jan 4th - Seller reaches out to me again and is now calling me a liar because inside foam is wrong color. I never ordered any replacement except theirs after my originals were dried out and started falling apart. Nothing to hide on my end for $17 ear covers. I’ll take my loss I guess, which is what I expected. :) Jan 6th - uploaded some new pictures. You can see now the competitors superior product which i ordered here on amazon (different company) on the LEFT with the Teal design. Look at the lip of material that goes over the back of the headphone to hold the ear cover in place...MUCH better than this product the one from this company which you can see on the RIGHT side. Look at the side view of the superior competitor product in the Teal vs this companys ear cover. ***Teal Ear covers - Different company - search for similar covers for Steel Series and youll quickly find them by the colors ) ***All Black with the yellow foam sticking out of it because it failed - This companys product
