Does exactly what its supposed to do, and I compared it to my old ear cushions, theyre the exact same.

I bought these back in April 2022 - Ive used the headset maybe 30-60 times since then in the past 6 months and today when I went to put on my Arctis 7 (2017 model) headphones - I noticed the foam sticking out on one of the ear pads and tearing away from the seam where it installs. Unfortunately even removing the ear pad to investigate caused it to rip further and now the ear pad is completely unusable. Cant find any warranty info on the sale page so I guess these are a dud for me.

Pros: Easy to install, about as comfortable as the original Cons: Perhaps a little more muffled than the original ear cushions, but they might break in Notes: At first, they make a lot of crunching/shuffling noise when you put the headset on, but as they sit for a little bit and take shape the noise goes away. Sound gets better if I push the headphones in toward my ears, so I imagine the mufflyness will clear up as the cushions break in and become less rigid.

TLDR: If youre looking for replacement pads for ATH-M50x or Xbox Wireless Headset that are soft, lightweight, and breathable without changing the default sound signature much, these are a great buy. However, if you are in an environment where you dont want or cant have sound leaking in the surrounding area, I would pass on these. I was in the market for replacement pads for my ATH-M50x and Xbox Wireless Headset and read that these would work. In short, they fit both headsets well, are easy to install, lightweight, and breathable. I didnt notice any significant degradation to the overall sound signature of either headset. However, I ended up not using these for either headset. Because of their design, they allow a lot of sound to leak out and for my use case, I didnt want that. They are breathable and I didnt notice my ears getting warm at all which is one of the reasons I wanted to replace original, but ultimately I decided that less sound leak was more important.

These worked for my arctis 5. My only real comment is that they had a bit of an odd smell to them out of the packaging.

Will i can say they are the same as the original ones and really good quality and easy to apply.

Im not sure whether its the size or shape of the replacements or the materials, but these caused ear eczema, making my ears become crusty and oozy.

Purchased July 27, 2022...and ive barely used them in the 5 months it took for them to break. Update: Jan 3rd 2023 - Seller reached out to me and said they would do a full refund which I wasn’t expecting. I said ok. Jan 4th - Seller reaches out to me again and is now calling me a liar because inside foam is wrong color. I never ordered any replacement except theirs after my originals were dried out and started falling apart. Nothing to hide on my end for $17 ear covers. I’ll take my loss I guess, which is what I expected. :) Jan 6th - uploaded some new pictures. You can see now the competitors superior product which i ordered here on amazon (different company) on the LEFT with the Teal design. Look at the lip of material that goes over the back of the headphone to hold the ear cover in place...MUCH better than this product the one from this company which you can see on the RIGHT side. Look at the side view of the superior competitor product in the Teal vs this companys ear cover. ***Teal Ear covers - Different company - search for similar covers for Steel Series and youll quickly find them by the colors ) ***All Black with the yellow foam sticking out of it because it failed - This companys product

Comfortable, easy to install, and fits just as well as the original pair. These have given life to my once stored away headset. I had a teething 3 month old puppy get to the headset and chewed the cushions off. I thought all hope was lost, until I stumbled upon these great replacement muffs.

First, Im disappointed that SteelSeries doesnt offer their own replacement Ear Pads on Amazon. As for this product. These replacements are fantastic for the cost. They fit securely, went on easily, and are nice and firm. I cant say Ive noticed much difference in the noise cancelation between these and the originals. Overall a great product that is filling a missed market by the original manufacturer.
