Arduino Leonardo with Headers [A000057]

I gave this arduino three (3) stars because I also bought some that were non-brand that worked just as well (if not better) and didnt have such a high price tag. These seemed to have a problem with some of the PCs I was working with. Its good thing I had Windows 10 and not just Ubuntu for programming, otherwise I would have been out of luck for it to work.

This unit works great. Im using it in some electronic projects Im working on, Im a beginner when it comes to electronics so this arduino along with the uno I have a big help

Picked up for learning purposes as well as for fun. Electronics have been a hobby for a long time now and I wanted to go further than just simple projects. There is so much online support for open source hardware that if you get stuck someone may be able to help you out.

This is the Arudino to get if you want it to be able to act like a keyboard/mouse/joystick when plugged up to a computer. I was able to create software to read joystick style controls, then send out iCade keyboard sequences to an iPad. The standard Arduinos do not have USB host support, so their USB port is only a serial port. The Leonardo can be toggled in software so the USB port can appear as a keyboard to the PC/Mac.

This is an Arduino Board with a really pristine look. Plus, it is nice that they are using the USB micro, because just about everyone has one of those cords for their phone nowadays.

Infinite possibilities with only the mind to limit what can be done. Can I make a robot mow my lawn? Wash my car? protect my house? Heck ya! Feed the dog, pick up the !@@#4%^ from the dog! Write code and learn. Stretch the gray matter. Start a project with your kid and make it a bonding memory. If a flunky old truck driver like myself can do it, who cant? Someone worked very hard to make this controller format simple.

Everything Ok

I am somewhat torn as to what score to give this item. The first time I ordered from this listing I ended up with a fake arduino with discolored screen printing and bad components that died within a few days. The second time I ordered from this listing I ended up with a good Arduino Leonardo that has been working very well since I received it.

The Arduino Leonardos worked with no issues. Uploaded code and they are off and running doing their thing. Great purchase!
