This is the first authentic Arduino Ive bought and Im glad I did. Copies are adequate but pin labels, silk screen, etc. are much nicer on the Italian board. I especially like the plastic half shell. Very small difference in price. Amazon orders direct from Arduino.

    Greater than one week

I plan to do development with it on a Raspberry Pi 4 as shown in the short clip.

You really cant go wrong with a Leonardo board! Its got the same chip as the practice Esplora board which means built-in USB HID capabilities! Ive replaced all my Unos with these for that reason. Great upgrade!

Wow the most advanced Serial EVER !!, really is the new way for using serial data in the arduino, I worked with Decimilia and clones, the serial direct. This affected me because of old code I wrote and use from the web. So now I stumble with a RX LED Fixed and non-responsive Leonardo. But just check the literature in arduino.cc Leonardo and worked just fine.

I bought mine from Mp3Car Store as other users stated that this seller provides genuine Auduino products. Other users were right. Im so glad that I could find the discontinued Leonardo at a good price as my project required the Leonardo specifically. Thanks

Each Arduino has its own unique set of features while maintaining the compatibility that defines the Arduino standard. Leonardos strong suit, for me, is its ability to communicate with two serial IOs at the same time for a couple of bucks more than the workhorse UNO. This saves a lot of time when talking to the Arduino thru the USB port and the Arduino talking to another serial device (e.g., a XBee radio) at the same time. No more plugging and unplugging USB cables every time you want to change a line of code. WOW!

Appears to be genuine, and has a nice plastic base attached to it.
